"THAT'S IS SO COOL" Ava yells excitedly over the backflip "Hello. My new best friend. Ummm..." They lightly scratched their head and Pondered Very Deeply. "Wolf!" It was like an epiphany, a revelation that came to them. He is like a big dog after all, it was a perfect name.

They nodded to what Rosaline told them and quickly spun to get their bag as well before facing Tarkus again. "Rosa is fine- the uh, gentlewomanly one. But Thea is new so she might've been scared... we def have to go help her out n-" Ava blinked twice as they watched Tarkus crouch, not entirely getting the gesture. They tilted their head to the side with their mouth hanging open a bit, and the gears in their brain slowly shifted.

"OH!" Their face wore a :o expression the moment it all clicked. A piggyback, they thought, amazing. He'd never been a piggyback passenger before. So now, filled with a little too much enthusiasm, they Hopped onto Tarkus' back and tried their best to position their arms correctly. They obviously needed some help and their adjusting was awkward for a minute, but it worked out eventually.

"Go On Forth my Beloved Steed!! Follow the tall ladies!!" They screamed again, not taking into consideration the fact that Tarkus' ears are at least 5cm away. (rest in piece king)

"Hm? Oh! I know you! You're that girl who bumped her head at the top of your car's insides! What an entrance." he chuckled. He took another glance at the schedule he had at hand. "Social studies,huh? Looks like we'll be in the same class! It's across the hallway to the left.....somewhere. We'll find it,I'm sure." he added,placing his schedule back in his bag.

Thea instantly crumples up inside, her smile from before now looking extremely strained. If she were a video game character - which, she for the record, isn't - she would be about to lose almost all of her HP. This kid can really throw his punches with his words, huh?

"Yeah. That sure is me," she says through her teeth. She does perk up a little as she hears the word 'Social studies'. "We're in the same class?! That's awesome! Lead the way, my man!"
She throws out her arms. Both of them. She retrieves them again when they start to hurt. The symptoms of weak nerd arms are worsening at every second.


Val sniffs as he fully relaxes onto the hand on his head. He checks his clock for good measure, though.
"It's the second period now... Only one more till P.E.," he smiles. "Do you have any good stories or something? It'll still be a little while."
He widens his eyes a little.
"Preferably child-friendly."

Harper lowered her eyebrows and put a hand on her chin thoughtfully. “Stories? How about the time...” She trailed off slowly before looking away. She continued after a moment of pausing, her tone completely changing when she next spoke. “I was framed for robbing a corner shop. I got chased for a while, had to jump some roofs to get away. Obviously I didn’t actually rob it, so...” She forced a grin, keeping her eyes in front of her.

He tried to muffle his laughter upon seeing Theo's reaction. "Was it reeeally that crucial for you to be punctual? You could've been late for like,two or four minutes and the teachers wouldn't really care. I do respect the fact that you gave it your all to be here on time though." he paused for a moment as he kept walking forward,catching a breath. "Name's Alex! It'd be more likely for you to have seen me before rather than to have heard about me." he said adjusting his hair,obviously feeling really proud of himself.

Thea stares at Alex completely unfazed. "Joking about school is never funny. Once you get marked down as a late student, you never escape that kind of reputation." She shutters. Were Area High kids really that rebellious?
She completely changes her facial expression as Alex introduces himself, now filled with one of awkwardness. "Oh yeah, man! I've totally seen you before." I have never seen this kid in my entire life. "My name's Thea! Although... you already know that if you heard my aunt shouting at me."


Val looks up at Harper in deep concentration as he listens to her. He nods inbetween, clearly deeply invested. As Harper paused, he audibly gasped.
"You were framed for a crime you didn't commit?! That is so unfair! The ones who framed you can have a word with me before they try that again!" He puffs out his chest before gaining a childish twinkle in his eyes. "How was... the roof-jumping, though. Was it cool?"

"As flattering as that would be, unfortunately I don't think I would." He chuckled, slightly dryly. "I doubt anyone would fancy picking up a book written by me." Gently flicking through his book, he nervously cleared his voice. It was a bit rude to only be answering questions and being a passive participant in a conversation so he decided to step it up a little bit. "So ah, you mentioned being a baker, correct? Which bakery do you work at, if you don't mind me asking." He fumbled out, obviously not used to making conversation between people who were around the same age as himself.

"Nah,I paid no attention to it." His proud smile was as clear as day from Thea's words,even though she didn't mean them. "Glad to meet you,are you...new here?" he nodded. "Anyway,did you hear that extremely loud person a bit before the period ended? I believe they're a student but I have never met anyone as obnoxious as them." They were getting closer to the class but he figured it would be better to just have a casual chit-chat until they actually get there. "

Harper nodded a few times. “Oh, definitely. You have to work out whether you’re gonna put your foot through the roof and then aim for a spot where you won’t. And, of course, whether you’re gonna even make the jump.” She explained, doing small actions with her hands to represent her and the roofs.

rosaline runs outside. "miss thea! social studies is tha-" she halts to a stop. she doesn't see anyone until she turns to the hallway. she sees thea talking to alex, seemingly already conversing with him.
oh. rosaline thought. guess she found her way. well. its too awkward to go back into the class ava is in now. she shrugs and walks past them, remembering to stop to talk to alex.
"alex!" she shakes his hand "hows your hair doing! hope that flaxseed mask worked well?"

Jumping from the loud voice calling his name,Alex turns around only to be met with Rosaline. "Ahhh,Rosaline. Good morning" he slightly shook her hand,mostly because she was already flailing both his and her's around. With a smug flick of his head,mostly to shake his hair he replied. "My hair is always in peak condition,perfect in appearance and length, befitting that of royalty, but thank you for asking." He skipped the 'flaxseed mask' part mostly because he didn't know what it was and was too embarrassed to ask. "How are you doing? Hope you had a great vacation."

she nods her head as he describes his hair (something she knows can make him talk for hours) and did a lil courtsey ,kneeling down to his supposed majesty, laughing as she does. "ah sir! i am v'ry thankful f'r thy hair's health! my vacation was most lame, though I'm sure yours wasn't." she looked at thea who was standing there awkwardly, and looked at alex again.

Thea stands by awkwardly as Rosaline and Alex begin conversing. She didn't mind other people talking - Rosaline's voice was fairly pretty - she was just... always so confused on when to break in. Especially when the bell is ringing and she can't stand being late oh my God.
"Um... our class begins.... now?" She whispers, hoping to be heard and not to be at the same time. It was weird.


Val scribbles on an imaginary notebook with an imaginary pen. "Interesting, interesting," he notes, mostly talking out loud to himself. He does slightly pause on the last bit. "If you... don't make the jump?"
It was as if he completely erased the thought of people getting hurt.

the bell rings and drowns out rosalines voice. " a friends family invited me to come to their fancy vacation, but it always feels like I'm their bodyguard whenever I'm with them. its weird" she looks over at thea. "oh, cool. do you want to go?" she asks both of them

Harper barked with laughter. “Die or hospital. I dunno, just don’t let it happen,” She shrugged, looking at his gesture and raising an eyebrow. “You’re not gonna try it, are you?” Her voice had incredulous amusement in it, doing well to hide her immediate concern. Her mind showed her an image of Val laying injured and her eyes clouded with fear for half a second.

The boar-ish like man seems to share the enthusiasm of the small gender not conforming that is currently on their back "You tell em, epic Androgynous knight" he says as a reply to Ava telling him to go forward. His words were soon followed with him dashing around with them on, yet it doesn't take long to realize, he has no idea where he is going, He has been blindly running qroudt for a few minut before the bell rang "Ah, that wasn't very fruitful." He stops on one spot, the funny lad still on his back as he stares blankly into space before asking "I don't know where the next class is"
"I've never thought about my dream before... but I'll find it someday. A purpose... A reason to exist, that I can define myself! That's why I fight! That is my... RULE!"

The elevantion increases as the bullet is fired.

Ava's yells echoed throughout the school's hallways. They weren't exactly used to piggyback-ying on anyone, and especially not anyone as Big Excitable and Fast as Tarkus was. The entire short trip was filled with a lot of "AAAAHHHH"s and "EHHHH"s.
"It's not... about the... destination..." They spoke while taking short breaths "It's about... the journey, and the friends you make along-the-way" They took a deep breath after finishing their very wisely wise statement, exhaling as they slowly lowered their head to rest it on Tarkus'.

Their tired expression (screaming for their life takes a lot of their energy, apparently) didn't last that long, with their face returning to a smile the moment they remembered what class they had now. "Social studies! Wait, I hate social studies. Oh Well," They mentally shrugged "Here, I'll guide you, okay?" They didn't wait for an answer, instead immediately yelling directions like a very aggressive GPS.

As soon as Alex asked he figured out that the reason they bumped into each other was that. "I'm already about to drift off to sleep so this period should do the trick..."

Thea nods slowly. Yes. People were finally quieting down... going to class as normal students... just dutifully doing their law-assigned tasks... Haha, Father. You were proven wrong! This school is not filled with rebels!
She will tell him that when she comes home. That'll show him!
Shrugging at Alex' sleep... comment... 'He doesn't mean that seriously, right?' She walks into the classroom, whispering a little apology at the teacher as she takes her seat. Please don't let the loud guy come in again. Please.


"DIE?!" Val shouts, quickly putting a hand in front of his face to mute the noise as he quickly realizes this whole plan is a stealth mission. He puts up his best tough guy accent. He's plenty tough, actually. His grandma's always impressed on how big he's become over the years... Positively meant!
"Maybe I will attempt it, then! Where do I... try? Do it? Try doing it?"
