when you gigamax a pokemon is there a difference in its battling or such things or all it does is a entry in m and g pokedex.also can i breed Venusaur with giga Venusaur

I believe its stats do increase, just like a mega or normal evo would. As for the breeding, no, just like with megas, if you breed the pokemon, eggs will never hatch into an evolved pokemon. You will only get bulbasaur.

If what you're asking is if they can breed together, then yes, as they are in the same egg group, however, they might be counted as not perfect due to one being giga and one not. I'm not entirely sure how that works.

As someone currently breeding giga blastoise with a regular blastoise, I can confirm that it isn't a perfect pair, even though the OTs are different.

Stepping in to say Giga pokemon have no change in stats. In Sword and Shield it's nothing more than a HP Boost and giving them a signature g-max move unlike Mega evolution, with the one exception being Eternatus, as Eternamax Eternatus is a superboss Pokemon that cannot be used in-game and is meant to be a story event threat that needs to be taken on by 4 pokemon

I suggest getting a good shiny and then giga it.
