For whatever reason, the charmander on the rumble base page was shiny today. Does it do anything special like the shiny ditto in the lab or is it just a cool thing to look at sometimes?

Nothing more than an easter egg like the Ditto thing, only the ditto was later given purpose in that it sometimes gives you a shiny plushie now. The same thing happens to the Pinsir and Jynx in Emera Square
