Hey there, first time trick or treater with a few questions. I'm undecided whether I should save up for a couple eggs, or start out with the upgrades like scary glasses or the large candy bag... do we know how much of a difference these make? Any advice what to do?

even i am new to trick or treating and i am going for the upgrades, i am thiking of going for the marshadium z later

Personally, i always buy the upgrades first, then look at seeing what else I can get.

The upgrades do have quite the impact on the amount of candies you can get, so i'd definitely try to get them as soon as possible if you want to maximise how much you can make to get as much of the stuff before the event's over.
