Removed possible edits section from the main post, although it was originally there to show I was open to changes and suggestions, I felt it undermined my original point and looked too cluttery.

Am also working on graphical design of suggested changes

Full Support. But I would like to suggest something:
Adding Berry garden tasks as a way to get edp would be much better than getting them from harvesting berries. This way it won't be too hard or too easy to get edp.

That's not a bad idea. Only issue I can see with that is how do you assign points per task? Would it be the same per task, or depend on how hard the task was? a lot of tasks can take hours to complete which would defeat the purpose
