As a user that has been a victim to that (there was a new account yesterday that was created just to insult me), I wholeheartedly agree with this.

Also, accounts can be deleted. I think Riako is able to do so if the user changed their name to something extremely foul or inappropriate. Just search up any bad word in your palpad search bar and find many accounts with that word. You can just click on some them and it'll say that this user doesn't exist (although, some of them was just locked permanently and there is only very few that was actually deleted). If it says, I think that means this user actually existed before their account was fully deleted. It's just not really common because I believe it's pretty difficult for Riako to delete an account and don't really do it much unless the username is way too foul or inappropriate for a kids game. I might be completely wrong, though.

Untrue, MAC Addresses are possible to be spoofed (faked) with communicating through the OS (Operating System) that such device would be connected through. MAC Addresses of devices can't truly be changed as it's hard coded information in a device. While it remains to technically be hardware level based information that could be logged and collected, they just aren't effective to be be putting a ban on them and bending backwards to go out of your way to get (and it's just as easy bypassing bans of them through programs/command lines as they would be with IPs through things like proxies/VPNs which is all easily accessible).

Which remains to primarily be true, and Riako surely hasn't done this with any of us users here, and I highly doubt he'll resort to doing so. So that means most if not all websites you would have visited already would not have access to your MAC Address by default, and or would have been possible of those sites to go logging it (as there wouldn't be much practical use by them doing so).

alright ephesians, what would you suggest then? what should raiko do? if op band are useless and so are network cards, what would be the best option? because it’s eother those or let people get attacked

As seen in the context shown in my screenshot back in my 2nd post on the thread, IP bans ARE in fact done here. It's not like those who would be bypassing permanent bans aren't being hit by them, and they are making quick work around them to go create new/multiple accounts.

The entire point I'm putting across is that there's just merely no practicality when it comes to blocking people effectively at all here from accessing this site. Period. All when it comes down to a browser based game/site.

The former isn't a choice, and as for the latter I'll say this:

People get attacked here all the time, it's always bound to happen, and it always has happened. Regardless of whether it's public, or behind closed doors. There's always going to be harassment, drama, and ALWAYS going to be a toxic part of not just this community, but ANY community especially of this caliber (size).

All because of there being an overwhelming amount of drama lately, and it just so happens that it's more blatant now than ever where there's so many public attacks against others, people feel the urge so strongly to speak out and want something done so badly about it. That's the whole problem is all the attention brought to trying to fix an ever-growing issue that has always existed, will never cease to exist, and it's only feeding the trolls because their bait is being taken and straight up eaten.

So what do they do? They'll hook more bait and cast it out if they know they'll get more bites. They love getting a rise out of others along with all the outcry of the same stuff that's constantly regurgitated over drama/issues they're deliberately causing.

So, what do I personally think Riako should do? In regards to this suggestion, and what's being discussed at hand?

Well, nothing.

Sure, he could try do something in relation to this suggestion, but I don't feel he should be obligated to have to do anything, since he can't really solve and put an end to these issues alone all by himself. What I think is most important is the greater good of this community being stronger as a whole going forward, and not feeding into drama/trolls and giving it all the attention those wish to seek. That would help the most.

Hopefully my last post on this thread, I feel I've said what I've needed more than I've had to say already.

considering how all of our newest members are trolls being gross, i’d like to just say this is definitely needed ;^) yes people will try to get around it but it wouldn’t hurt. we’d probably see less off these names.

Not to break the active thread mood but there's already the same suggestion here. This has been a recurring theme on the site and nothing has been done, as you can see from the linked thread's date. It's best to keep a suggestion to one thread however, to prevent confusion as well as conflicting ideas and opinions. I had to post this even if I hadn't bumped the thread for some time because eventually someone else or a mod will.

If the things I had written on the linked thread is not to your image or does not include any opinions or other causation of harm that was caused due to the lack of this site's moderation of such vulgar names, feel free to post there and quote yourself from this thread to keep the clutter away. I will be editing the main post if needed to, or I might rewrite it if enough people are paying attention to this problem and supporting this cause once more.

you realise these accounts were telling a ten year old to kill themselves right. they got deleted i’m pretty sure, but i’m sure there’s screenshots somewhere. that’s what this is about. accounts saying “(user)killurself”.
