There’s a quest requiring 15 consecutive victories in Higher Lower, but I cannot get beyond 5. Does anyone have any tips? Is there a trick? The wiki doesn’t say much and I cannot find any posts about it.

there are no tips or tricks. you just have to get lucky and use common sense. if it’s a high number, pick “lower”, etc.

To be more specific:

If the number is 2-5, pick higher.
If the number is 6-9, pick lower.

Mathematically, the odds should be in your favor then. That's about the only tip or trick there is to the game. The rest is up to persistence and luck.
