Mega evolving Milotic

So I did a trade recently for a mega evolve Milotic... it’s a level 60 and has a mega stone. Can anyone explain why it hasn’t mega evolved?

(Not quite sure if this was meant for help... sorry if I should have put it as a bug :S)

Don't you also need to give it a Mega Stone to hold? I don't see your Milotic holding any items. 0:

you need to create or buy a mega stone for it. you can make a mega stone in the gem cauldron at the gem collector.

Ok ok :D i has confused because I saw the mega stone and I know that sometimes the bubble is empty

The mega bubble on the pokemon means that it's capable of mega evolving. As others have pointed out, a mega stone is needed for that evolution to happen. A pokemon without that mega bubble on its profile can't mega evolve no matter how high of a level it has while holding a mega stone.

Just to clarify in case it'd be helpful.

Also, to add to what gregoryk said: Aside from boiling a mega stone in the cauldron, you can also trade pokemon and items you fish at the beach with Leah for one. The trade isn't available all the time though, so you need to keep checking back for it.
