Looking for moon stones and shiny stones and was wondering if buying them from the item shop was the only way to get them or is there another way? I check it daily and can't seem to find them.

You can buy them from other players on GTS, find them randomly in mystery boxes or treasure hunt, or make them in the gem cauldron.
