"I understand completely," Andor nodded. "...It must be refreshing to see a place such as this, hm? How I long to see a forest. The land north of the kingdom is subarctic; completely forested. I used to go out there..." He trailed off purposely, thoughtfully fiddling with his jacket. "I suppose that what I'm trying to say is that I miss it."

"Well, judging by what Robbie said, if he can actually send me home and it's not all talk..." Amanita sighed, laughing slightly. "You could come and visit me? If you don't want to that's completely ok, and I totally understand if you don't want to because there's the risk of not getting back and all-" Amanita continued to ramble, waving her hands in the air.

Amanita blushed, laughing. “Yeah. I think I may need to educate him on the art of accurately performing a ritual.” She smiles at Andor, and then began to fiddle with her tunic. Tunic. What did she want to ask Andor again? Oh, yeah. “Um, I have one more question for today - is there any more... what’s the word... appropriate clothing for me here? Because I don’t think that this,” She asked, gestation her outfit, “is the kind of outfit worn in Haipshire.”

“Thank you. Well, I think it’s quite late, right? Maybe we should...” Amanita trailed off, and made a small gesture to the room behind her. “It’s not like I don’t want to talk to you it’s just that falling from the sky takes a lot of energy.”

“I suppose so.” Amanita smiled, then stepped forwards, kissing Andor on the cheek. She felt wrong and right and all mixed up about it, but it was a nice feeling, in a way. “Goodnight Andor.” She said as she slipped through her door and shut it behind her, sliding down the wood and grinning.

At around eight, the shield turned off. Robbie rubbed his eyes and went to the window of his tower, looking out. Andor had been up for hours, doing target practice somewhere in the training hall of the castle.

Amanita woke up suddenly, from a nightmare of falling through blue to black, and bubbles coming out then suddenly stopping. She shook her head, clearing it of the darkness that was and the craziness of the last day, only to find herself in the plush and decanant room she woke up in. A ole of clothes rested on top of the dresser, and she padded barefoot across the carpet, relishing the feeling of soft fabric and the contrast of cold wooden floors. She picked each item up, inspecting and sniffing each one, settling on a hooded and soft coat, a grey shirt, her leggings and boots, deciding to keep her hair loose and long. (I’m sorry I love writing descriptions of characters[) She opened the door, looking left and right, before seeing the spiralling staircase to the tower and softly tiptoeing up it.

Robbie yawned and shifted to sit on the windowsill, glancing behind him to the pot of coffee that was currently in the process of brewing. He shivered slightly but felt too lazy to grab his cloak and too tired to cast any sort of spell to warm him up.

(dude walking the wire by imagine dragons is my jam for haipshire rn)

Amanita continued climbing up the tower's steps, not caring to look from the windows until she saw the view from the one just before the door. It was just a slit that archers would have used, like the ones back home, but the view was breathtaking. Rolling hills and towering mountains shrouded in clouds behind quaint villages and pretty towns and... it was like nothing she had ever seen.

Robbie glanced back at the door, sensing Amanita's aura, and flicked his wrist. The door opened. "Pretty, huh? That's my favorite thing about having the tower," He called.
