"...I should mention that there actually is a magical shield on this sector of the castle, but I can turn it on and off at will."

“Wow. I’ve never felt so much energy sapped from one place.” Amanita commented, almost overwhelmed by the lack of magical energy from the areas inside the barrier. Normally there was a small tingle of magic everywhere, and in the areas where the barrier was strong, she could feel the energy of the barrier, but not her own, but here it was was if there was a floodgate bursting as all the energy was flowing back to her.

Robbie chuckled meekly. “Here. Take this, too. On the first floor of my tower, there’s a full magical library, cauldron, an altar... Pretty much every magical item in the kingdom. Help yourself.” He tossed the key at her.

“Really?” Amanita asked, running a finger over the toothed edge of the key. “Thank you, Robbie!” She leapt up, throwing her arms around the boy’s neck.

He was cut off by a tap on the door behind them. Robbie raised an eyebrow, turning around to open it. "Got the papers," Andor greeted, holding them up. "What did I miss?"

“Yes I guess. And thank you Robbie. I’m sure your old home is very comfortable.” Amanita giggled. She rubbed the back of her neck, and then leaned against the wall. And then she looked shocked as to what Andor said. “What. I’m sorry — I — WHAT?!” She spluttered and turned beet red.

Andor looked up sharply as Robbie departed and cleared his throat. "Anyway... I hope you found the accommodies of the castle inviting?"
