I have not got an email from Pokeheroes to verify my account. I checked both the inbox and the spam folders.

Well it doesn't look like you've requested your verification E-Mail yet.

Go to Settings → Profile Settings → scroll down to E-Mail settings → Click on the "Verify"-link in the green box.
