Lise frowned. Even of they weren’t in trouble, they wouldn’t have been called here for no reason. Troye just put his hands in hia pockets and leaned against the wall, not really thinking about anything.

"W-well." Headmaster Opus stammered slightly and adjusted her brooch before looking up. "He's taken the princess of Carnaelia -- Kiaera -- and is holding her hostage so he can get the legendary sword, Owetanin, which is believed to have insane power." she explained.

Natalie shoots a glare at Hayden before looking at Headmaster Opus. "How does that relate to us?"

"I want you lot to fight him."

Cinnie almost spits out her water that she'd taken from the table with enough cups for everyone. "I-I'm sorry, what?!" she coughed violently.

Kelsea raised her eyebrows. "B-But, Headmaster, s-some of us aren't even -- some of us are like, second year!"

"No police? No nothing? Trust a bunch of kids?" Sarah asked before thinking things over a bit. This could be a great asset helping out a head master....no possibly the world. She gave a huge smile and leaned against Opus's desk smiling a few inches away from her face, "What will you give us?"

Lise raised an eyebrow. Why would the Headmaster trust a bunch of kids to take on such a large threat? “This is a dumb idea.” She whispered to Troye. He chuckled. “Who knows. Ot could be fun!” He whispered back.

"The adventure of a lifetime!" Headmaster Opus' voice boomed around the room.

Natalie shut her mouth before she could say anything else and probably get herself into trouble. She simply shook her head.

"Yeah! There has to be something in it for us!" Cinnie crossed her arms and leaned in next to Sarah. She'd probably had a crush on the girl for a while, but who cared? Cinnie, probably.


"You guys are missing the point!" Kelsea piped up from the back of the room. "We're helping her save the world! We'll be celebrated heroes! Isn't that cool on it's own?!"

"Thank you, Miss Farinah. That is the point. Sort of." Headmaster Opus nods. "Now. I will try to organize some reward money -- but I have allies across the orb who would be more than glad to give you good armor, food, and places to sleep." she explained before turning to Priscilla. "You have potential. You all have exhibited greatwork in your studies and magical abilities."

"We'll do it!" He said happily.

Priscilla raised her eyebrows, crossing her arms. She guessed her magic wasn't that bad, it was the history of the magic that brought her down.

Sarah shook her head a bit thinking about what the headmaster said a bit annoyed. No rewards...then what could she do to get stuff or possibly get stuff. Her goofy smile became quite devilish a moment later. "Fine but we should make a few demands like...uh....if we die you have to set our families for life!"

"Maybe...I could find a reason to live....or a nice place to die," Marc thought out loud happily imagining himself getting impaled on a sword in some cool castle as rain seeped down.

"Think about it, if you died what will happen to your family? What if we get injured? What will happen then? Say I get crippled from neck down for life? What then? Unless the pot is sweetened a bit I must go back to my experiments." She explained a bit annoyed. How could anyone not want a reward? It was insane.

"I'm not going on some death qu-" Cinnie was cut off as Headmaster Opus abruptly placed a silencing charm on the entire room, which prevented everyone except the caster from talking.


"Now that I've shut you up." She sighed. "Listen. Mr. Wenslow, you are an incredibly talented healer and will be needed on your journey. I hope you know you can't get out of this. Consider it an assignment, all of you. A fly ship leaves in two hours at the sky docks -- so collect your things for the trip. One bag max."

Priscilla only rolled her eyes, and Oliver started to break out into a sweat. What would he do?! She put his hand on his shoulder and glanced one more time at Troye before heading towards the door with her brother by her side.

Sarah sighed annoyed internally unable to speak. Nothing she could say, she had to go now. No way to show her anger except....giving the head master the bird she turned and walked out to get her stuff.


'I'll only let them down, I am so pathetic. Surely there is no reason for me to go...but no. I have to go....surely there is a reason for it...maybe bait? A sacrifice? Either works for me.' Marc thought happily before turning to back his stuff up.
