Tiger laughed gently and nodded. "Yeah you're welcome." He said kindly and blinked when he heard Watt. Cyndaquil exchanged a glance with Tiger and shrugged before looking at the Sentret who looked up as Hori got closer to it.

Hori blinked. "H-Hi. I uh. I kinda want to get stronger so could I maybe battle you?" He asked awkwardly. Watt snickered and smiled.

The Sentret looked up and smiled politely. "Uh sure." She said kindly and stretched. "Though, warning you now. I'm pretty strong." she snickered and waited for Hori to make the first move.

Hori smiled and used a Confusion to start off.

"...I don't think I've ever seen two pokemon make conversation before a battle." Mira blinked, surprised.

Sentret was hit by the confusion and shook it off before going in with a tackle.

Tiger chuckled in amusement. "Cyndaquil did it before with Kuso when we first met him."

Hori squeaked and tumbled backwards, using Growl once he regained his footing.

"I can imagine that!" Watt laughed.

"I can, too," Mira smiled in amusement. "What, was it just a conversation about the weather?"

Sentret was effected by the growl. She flinched and lowered her attack.

"It was more about the Dratini we found, and the battle with Falkner." Cyndaquil said kindly and smiled at the memory.

Sentret was hit and fell back. She countered with a leer.

Tiger nodded and smiled at Mira. "Yeah. Charm, Cotton, and Cyndaquil all helped me get my first badge Cotton was the one who finished his Pidgeotto off." He said kindly and smiled at the memory.

"Charm grew a couple levels in that fight, and Cotton was the best Pokemon we befriended before the fight." Cyndaquil said with a smile.

Hori flinched as his defense was lowered. He quickly glanced back to Mira to feel her sense of calm before looking back at Sentret.

Mira smiled and rocked on her heels. "Are you going to use them again for your rematch?"

Sentret ran at Hori with a quick attack.

Tiger nodded and smiled as he looked down to Mira. "Of course I'm going to rematch him with Cotton and Charm. It'll be just like the first fight, just with Falkner's higher leveled team."

Hori went to dodge, but Sentret was too fast and he got knocked onto the ground. He lashed out with another Confusion.

"Ah, yes. It'll be a good fight." Mira decided with a grin. "...So do you think each gym leader has, like, two teams of pokemon that they use for different trainers? One team for the beginners, one for the more experienced, and another for the seasoned trainers?"

Tiger nodded. "Each gym leader has a different team. Used for every skill type of trainer." He explained kindly. "A newbie trainer would get Pidgey and Pidgeotto, while an experienced one will get Pidgeot and Fearow."

Hori smiled and turned around. "Nicely done," Mira rubbed his horn and handed him two berries; one pecha, and one oran. Hori offered the oran berry to the Sentret.

"That makes sense. To give everyone a good fight," Mira nodded. "I always wondered why their teams would just randomly change."

Sentret smiled and accepted the berry before sitting down to eat it. She gave Hori a blue Apricorn. "Tell your friend to make you a cookie out of it." She said kindly.

Tiger nodded in response to Mira and smiled. "Yeah I wondered that too, then Lion explained it to me. His newbie trainer team is Plusle, Minum, and Electrike. While his advanced team is Hikari, and Raichu." He said kindly.

"You and I both. He and Faye are nearly unbeatable when they fight together too. Definitely made the perfect match with those two." Tiger replied to Mira kindly and jumped to the ground. Cyndaquil landed on his head.

Mira smiled. "I'm really happy that one of my little dates worked out in the end. ...That, and the Lovedragons of course."

Hori waddled back to Mira and held up the Apricorn for her. "Can you make this a cookie?"

Watt translated for Mira and she blinked in slight surprise. "Did the Sentret give you that?" Hori nodded.

Tiger nodded and smiled before looking over to Hori. He chuckled in amusement. "I'll help you make it as a cookie, Mir. After all I've got to get some apricorns prepared for Kurt to make a few pokeballs anyway, and I don't use the shell of the Apricorn when I bake." He said kindly.

"Erm... Yeah. I think that might be necessary," Mira chuckled nervously, pocketing the Apricorn. "I could definitely use your help on that one."

Watt smirked at Hori, who tilted his head in confusion. Watt rolled his eyes and glanced at Tiger and Mira, puckering his mouth into an exaggerated kissing motion. Hori understood and let out a chuckle. "What's so funny?" Mira looked over, not noticing the exchange.

"Nothing," Hori and Watt replied together.
