Hi, I had a problem when I was brewing my mega stone. I was had only 11 gems left, with 20 seconds to spare, when I was shown the message "you have no more of this gem left". I know I had 5 of all gems when I entered the brewing, but I wasn't able to continue brewing, and I failed. I had made 0 mistakes before that too, but I lost all of my gems.

There are two possible reasons:

Reason #1:
You were clicking the wrong gem.
If for example you need 4 Bug gems and 4 Fire gems and have just enough gems for this, you use all 4 Bug gems and then it asks for Fire and you press the bug gem, you'll get this message.
This actually does not give you a time penalty which is a bug since you did choose the wrong gem.

Reason #2:
You clicked the gem wrongly before.
If for example you need 4 Bug gems and 4 Fire gems and have just enough gems for this, it asks for a Fire gem and you press the Bug gem once, you'll get a penalty, then it asks for 4 Bug gems, the first 3 Bug gems are fine but the 4th one will give the message since you already wrongly used one of the Bug gems. Again this will not give any penalty.

Here I'm clicking the bug gem after clicking wrong a few times before, notice there is no time penalty.

Edit:
I figured it is meant to be this way. Noticed you can lose more gems than you actually need and also noticed you still have the gems you didn't put in the gem cauldron if the time runs out.
