Wide Lens Notification

There been times were we forget that we had scanned our eggs so i suggest we have a notification setting where it will tell us when the wide lens is ready for use again and maybe tell us what the egg was in the notification. which would be very useful for those who are trying to hunt the event pokemon or cross breeding pokemon like tyrunt when the opposite gender is not available yet. It also can be turned off if one doesn't want to use it yet.

Support. I start scanning an egg and usually forget to get a timer set for it... So I check back every minute or so until it's done, or forget about it for a few hours and hope that it wasn't released in that time.

Seems like notifications are becoming a bit of a cluster, from notifications that people have added you, to notifications about getting Plushies, to notifications about treasure hunt, and the egg radar notification.

This is another thing I'll be turning off if implemented, really don't need a notification every ten minutes saying the egg I scanned is done being scanned. And since I wouldn't use this I have to say no support.

And I get that this can be helpful for others, so I'll let them support this. As for me I see this feature as unnecessary since if you're worried about an egg getting sent to the tall grass that much to need this then I'd assume you'd check that egg every now and then. At least I do, so again I don't really benefit from this extra notification.

Various features with timers have recently gotten (optional) notifications and I don't see why the egg scanner should be/remain an exception. It may not be a big deal if you have the fastest scanner version or know what your eggs are without examining them, but if you need to use it constantly... well, I remember cutting it close when there were too many eggs in too little time. A tool to both reduce unnecessary checks before the time is up as well as to prevent forgetting that you still have eggs to scan would be useful in my opinion. For those who prefer not to have additional notifications, setting - or rather removing - a checkmark to turn them off doesn't require a huge effort.

i understand your point queen pumpkaboo but you also got to take into account those people looking for the event pokemon or shiny event pokemon from the daycare this would be most useful for them as well

Joe that's why I said I will let those people support this idea. I won't speak/support for them when they can do that themselves. I merely said why I don't think this idea is helpful for reasons for me. I don't like getting in the habit of supporting an idea I am not going to use because I don't think it's helpful.

I'm balanced on this.\r\nI agree with what Queen_Pumpkaboo said, since I'm usually not the forgetful type, but probably wouldn't turn it off anyways. \r\nI guess I wouldn't mind if it was implemented, but I wouldn't care if it wasn't.

what got me into this idea is shiny hunting the event pokemon in which there is a chance to get the normal version or the event version so this would help in 2 ways 1 you are reminded that your wide lens is ready to be used again ad the other i you are notified of what the egg is.

Full support! I have the full upgrade for the scanner (scans in 10 minutes) and I still somehow manage to forget that my eggs were being scanned. I can only imagine how it is for those who have to scan for 30 minutes. xD

Support. I seem to forget for hours at a time, at times, despite having the 10 min. scanner. .u.;;
I would definitely find a little notification for this handy.

Full support, could be useful. I always need to check when I'm breeding event w/ normal, and double checking is also helpful.
