What would your occupation be in the Pokemon world?

I was thinking of what job I;d have int he Pokemon world if I was there and was wondering what everyone else had in mind as the job they'd want to do there. On top of most real-world jobs, which would be available int he Pokemon world (police officer, nurse, newscaster, etc.), there are also a number of exclusive jobs. Here are some that I could think of:

Breeder - breeding any type of Pokemon as a job (like Brock wanted to do)
Watcher - going around and studying different Pokemon, not catching them all (like Tracey)
Entertainer - focusing almost solely on Pokemon contests (like May, Dawn, and Serena)
Connoisseur - studying the compatibility of people and Pokemon (like Cilan)
Ranger - type of Police with main focus on protecting Pokemon
Full-time trainer - focus is solely on battling and developing Pokemon (like Ash, Misty, Iris, etc.)

*I don't consider gym leader a job as I consider them superior full-time trainers


I would either be a watcher like Tracey, or a teacher. I would love to travel the world studying Pokemon, while also having a handful of them myself. That would be my dream Pokemon job. The most realistic would be a teacher as I am currently studying to become one in real life. I think it would be cool to teach up-and-coming trainers all about Pokemon and their types, moves, etc.

What occupation would you have if you were int he Pokemon world?

Honestly, I would want to be a Trainer, but at the same time, a Trainer that looks out for pokemon, like a Ranger, but without the Ranger rank, or job title. Like... a Pokemon Protector, but also a Trainer.

Honestly, I'd probably be a daycare owner. I'd get to see and interact with so many different pokemon and help trainers with raising and caring for their pokemon that need a little extra help.

I'd say breeder and getting to be with lots of pokemon, when its out of fiction I wouldn't be able to have pokemon battle :,(

I would say Pokemon Researcher actually. It seems more fun to study than actually training or performing in my mind.

I think I'd be a type of Trainer that offers abused, abandoned, lost, etc. pokemon a sanctuary; a safe place for them to heal or to find their way back home or to a trainer. Sure I'd travel for a while, but then I'd settle down with a large plot of land, and turn into a safe haven for all types of pokemon.

Title: Breeder

I'd be a breeder. I'm interested in genetics and the breeding mechanics of the games along with the anime's 'dog-show'-like breeding. I'd love to style and dress up pokemon all day instead of fighting them. I'd die for Brock's Vulpix (the one he got from that breeder in the 1st season) just to make her pretty with all kinds of bows. I'd probably specialize in cat/dog/fox/small(ish) mammal pokemon. I'd still want my dream charmander though. As long as he can stay in his cute first form forever. :* (Hey, Ash's pikachu hasn't evolved in like... a million years, so I can have a charmander that never evolves!) Either that or I'd be a healer like Cassandra in "A Problem With Paras". Which the first season implied was tied into breeding since it involves making food.

I breed snakes in real life, I find the genetics and combinations you can create fascinating, so I'd likely be a breeder of some kind... more than likely just have a butt load of Eevees and Growliths.
Or own a sanctuary for abandoned pokemon :)

I would be a trainer and maybe a performer. But primarily a Trainer. Travel the world catching new pokemon & making new friends. See the sites with my pokemon, create memories.

To be honest, I'd be part trainer and part ranger.

Sure, it'd be fun to be a trainer full time, but catching criminals with my pokemon would be half of the fun too!

I'd like to think if I was in the Pokemon world I would be a trainer, once I caught them all I would become a Pokebreeder and take care of all the Pokemon.c:

Breeder, I'd much prefer taking care of pokemon than battling or anything else.
