Athena eyed the snake ring that tumbled out of a book. She quietly put the book back, suspicious, but yet still intrigued by the possible potential the ring held. Slipping it on her right-hand pointer finger, as it seemed that's the only place it would fit, Athena checked out the book she was holding.

Her phone buzzed with a message from her friend Catherine.

Kinuuuuu~ where you at?

Athena's nickname was Kinu, a rather long story.

Library.

Ugh, boring again. I'm hanging out with Sonya at the mall! Join us!

Athena rolled her eyes. No. I'm busy.

Catherine didn't respond to the texts after that.

Mira laughed again, and shook her head, glancing around the park before replying.

Want me to come over? I found something really cool at the beach today I kinda want you to see!!

Penta laughed at Mira's slight stupidity. He never ever went outside nor let them know where he lived to meet Mira nor his other friends, how could she expect him to do it now?

Dummy, you know I can't ever go outside nor let anyone in!! im a lonely shut-in, just take a pic of it and show me what you found bc it sounds cool.

After jade had talked with the scientist, showed him the pictures, and watched him, and his team, rush to where she had told them the cave was. They had told her to stay in his office until they got back, so she listened and stayed put. She got bored quickly and set up a group chat with two of her friends, Penta and Mira.

Hey guy's! I'm really bored cause I'm stuck at the museum.... What's new with you guys?

Penta sent the message, smiling as he waited for both of their replies. I wonder if it's something else too, he thought.

She took a picture of the ring on her finger and sent it.

The man saw her in the park and walked over. "I'm sorry, miss, but could I speak to you for a moment?"

Mira frowned and looked at him, untrusting. "It's about your ring. My name is Firon."

Wait really? I found something, well two things, in a cave up under a cherry blossom tree and it's really cool!


Jade replied then sent the pictures of the dragon skeleton and a picture of the ring which was now glowing a fire red.

Some tourist must've dropped or something LOLOL. isn't it a crime to pick things up and take them as your own anyway???

That's kind of weird though, I actually found a ring today too. I'm not sending a pic bc my room's too dark : P


Penta thought about it for a bit. "Really strange," the boy mumbled. "That ring does look cool though," he smirked.

Venom walked out of the cave where he found his ring. He looked at it and grinned intensely. He started to walk on the board walk.



Leon looked at the ring he saw in the ash pit, He slipped it on as he walked out of the woods and into the city. He walked into his parents hair salon (Might have spelled it wrong). He sat down in a chair and looked on his phone.

"Mr. Firon, I just found this ring. ...Is it yours, by any chance?" Mira asked.

"Where did you find it?" Firon went on, seemingly ignoring Mira's question.

She looked a bit taken back. "Um... On the shore. It was kind of wet, so I just assumed that it had washed up."

Firon sighed. It's happening... I didn't think it would for hundreds of more years... "Miss, something grave has happened. That ring holds an unimaginable power."

"Pfft," Mira rolled her eyes. "I know a scam when I hear one." She had turned her ringer off on her phone, and didn't hear the call or texts.

"darn it!" Jade said as the scientist walked in. He thanked her for her help and told her that they had found it and that she could leave. As he said that she bolted out of the room and quickly made her way to the park, having a feeling Mira was there. Jade caught sight of her and noticed the man and quickly ran over and got between them "You stay away from her you creep!" She growled and was shocked by how animal like she sounded.

Penta was worried until he thought of the possibilities. "Meh, probably doing their girl stuff. Those girls always disappear," he made an excuse for himself. If I met them, I would actually know what they're doing, he thought, but don't let it get to you, you're better off not letting anyone see who are.
