You can exchange Pokédollars for Game Chips in the Game Center to get started. (I believe it's 10,000 PD for 1,000 Game Chips)

You can also find a random amount of Game Chips in Mystery Boxes (usually between 500-4,000 Game Chips; could be more or less, not completely sure).

Additionally, you can win Game Chips from spinning Golden Game Chips in the Golden Slots, which you can obtain by interacting.
