So how did the humans survive? The answer is simple. They made deals with demons. Humans became the demons to have the strength to take on the aliens and protect their home worlds. Not only that but demons and humans adapted, such as a snake demon becoming an ice snake at cold areas.
Humans working with demons caused a few problems. First major issue was that humans who shifted into a demon, were weaker than the demons. The second issue was humans could be taken over by the demon and attack people. The final issue was shifting into a demon who was the opposite gender, this destroyed a shifter's insides.
The humans won the war, but in the end, they lost ninety percent of their demon shifters. Now the aliens are coming back and the only to beat them is to gather more demon shifters.

Rules
1] No fighting among yourselves.
2] Ask permission if you want to kill some one else's character.
3] Yes the aliens are death fodder, but don't make it so you can kill one hundred like it is nothing.
4] Your character can be possessed by two demons. Anymore will have to be okayed by me.
5] Romance is allowed, but don't make it about romance.
6] I will control the aliens.
7] Demons are decided by levels. Level ones are the weakest. Level twos are the second weakest. Level threes are the most common. Finally level four is the strongest one can obtain.
8] Level four demons will come later in the rp.
9] Rules will be added.
10] If you read the rules, put "Screw the rules, I have money!" in the Did You Read The Rules Section.
11] A trait is a thing that defines a demon that the shifter is stuck with even in human form.
This could be an addiction to drinks or food, or something like a birthmark the demon has that a human now has.
12] You can be a plain human. Humans are far weaker than shifters and aliens. Thus they have to outsmart most foes.
