"I'll check on the other members," Duke informed as he flew upwards
to view if any angels were having trouble. It was a shame that many
were wounded and Duke couldn't help them all, so he commanded the
others to help aid them.
"Lise, have you taken count of the wounded?" Duke asked, flying
downwards to meet the healer.
Lise changed her gloves and was now bandaging up an angel's arm.
She glanced over at Duke. "Oh I am, but it just doesn't seem like
I'm fast enough. This is terrible... oh there are so many more."
Lise gasped, seeing the new patients come in.
"Keep your head up, Lise. You're doing just fine," Duke smiled,
hoping to spread his happiness to Lise. "Is there any way I can
help?" Duke asked. I hope there is. It seems like this might be
stressful for her, Duke thought.
Lise smiled a little, thankful for the kind words. She pointed over
to where the newer patients were. "Tend to the smaller injuries if
you can, leave the larger ones to me." She said, happy to have a
bit of help.
"Alright then," Duke smiled and he began taking some angels into
care. Aria's going to have to organize a plan quickly, Duke
thought as he treated some of his teammates. He hoped that the
demons of the underworld would not strike again.
Lise put on a brave face as she moved on to the next patient.
They're wing was badly damaged, so she quickly got to work. Troye
felt like something weird was happening, but everything was quiet.
Lise was running around, as well as sending her various nurses to
the lighter injuries. No matter how fast she went, it seemed that
the amount of injured was only getting larger. She was running our
of supplies fast.
"Oh! Thank you so much!" Lise said. She quickly sorted them out and
handed a pile to a nurse and gave her some quick instructions
before she scampered away. Lise continued to tend to the wounded.
