Recently I discovered Minecraft Realms, which is a service that allows me to host an Online Minecraft Server that we can all play together on c:
About Minecraft Realms
» Minecraft Realms allows for me to run a multiplayer server in which I can invite players into.
» Minecraft Realms is run by Mojang, meaning that everything is 100% safe and secure.
» Realms is a paid service, which means it costs me money. I do, though, have a 14 Day Trial Period. If the trial period is successful, and people enjoy the server, I will pay to keep it active ^^
» Realms only allows for 20 players to be on the list to join the server. It then only allows for 10 players to be on the server at once. This means that there will be limited spaces. The password is Villager.
» Realms are 100% vanilla.
» The server should be available 24/7.
» Realms allows for minigames to be played whenever I wish. So from time to time, minigames will be available.
» The version I am using will only work on PC/Mac versions of Minecraft. It will not work on Console or Pocket Edition.
Server Rules
» The server will be on Survival Mode - Normal Difficulty
» Since it is vanilla, no mods will be installed.
» Refrain from purposely annoying or irritating other players. We all want to be happy c:
» Please don't go around killing other players. Killing is only allowed if both parties agree to a PvP match.
» Don’t steal other player’s items. We want to build a friendly community. The real password is your favourite Minecraft ore. If you’re caught stealing, you will be banned from the server.
» Please refrain from using swear language.
» This server will be for PH members only.
» Please try to keep the landscape tidy. Don't leave holes in the ground, don't set everything on fire, don't leave floating trees or 1x1 columns.
» No spamming the chat.
» Since there is only a limited amount of spaces, if you feel as if you don't want to play on the server anymore, please notify me ^^
» If you become inactive on the server, I will remove you from the list.

Is your account a premium account, as in that it was purchased properly from minecraft, and not an illegal download? ^^
Cause this server only allows for full legal accounts.
It also could be that you haven't updated to 1.10?
