My suggestion is that we can be able to offer with nuggets in auctions and have a start bid for either nuggets or PD.

@DragonSumedh, your reason doesn't make any sense. How would this spam or result in double-accounts?

I support this, it'll be more useful for shinies and things :p

There's a slight problem, though.
What happens if one person offers Nuggets and another offers ? How would it decide who wins?
Currently, the only thing that can be bought with both AND Nuggets is the PokéRadar, which puts them on a scale of one Small Nugget to 300. That is less than a third of what Small Nuggets are sold for most of the time, so either Riako would have to completely contradict himself and make the exchange rate different in the Auction House or he would need to make the exchange rate horribly messed up, making it so that you can easily win an auction with Nuggets even if your offer is worth less than the one you "outbid." (Edit: This would also lead people who are seeking Nuggets to just put the auction in the forum instead of on the Auction House, as they will get more Nuggets from there than from the Auction House.)
Additionally, it is currently impossible to send fewer than 50 Small Nuggets at a time. Either that would be the minimum start bid you can choose, which would make bidding Nuggets pointless on all but the most valuable of Pokémon, or people would be able to abuse this to send fewer Nuggets than the normal minimum to one another.
As a result of these, I do not support.

No support for the reasons Carpet stated.

Also to add on. It seems like this would only be useful for legendary/shiny Pokemon, both of which I hardly see in the auction house.

Oh and it just seems like another way for people to overprice their Pokemon.

What if it were made so that you auctioned for EITHER nuggets OR PD... I could see that working?

That's exactly what the original post says and that doesn't fix any of the issues mentioned.

I think he means that you can choose have to choose between Nuggets and ; it cannot be for both. That way, since you can only offer in one of the two currencies, there is no need for the site itself to worry about which is more valuable.
I think that will actually solve the problem, though the start bid would still need to be 50 Small Nuggets or more if the Auction is for Nuggets. Good idea, UltrasPlot. ^^

If the starting bid would have to be 50 small nuggets what pokemon here is worth 50 small nuggets that we would bid on? Legendaries sure, but what else? Since it wouldn't be possible to auction for anything less than 50 small nuggets I don't know who would bid 50 small nuggets on a regular basis.

This function would have to be worth it, as in people would use it and use it reasonably. I can only imagine trolls putting up pokemon like Swirlix or Spritzee or the newest released pokemon for all those nuggets thinking they're rare or to try and trick people. And there would only be a few good pokemon to be sold for 50 nuggets or more, such as legendaries, and not even all legendaries since Manaphy is pretty common and I don't think 50 small nuggets is a reasonable price for it.

So basically no support, again, because there wouldn't be a reasonable amount of pokemon that are worth 50 small nuggets or more to put in an auction. People would just over price and anything more than 50 small nuggets most people have to pay money for or save for with daily logins so people would be paying money essentially for Pokemon that they can most likely get for cheaper with PD.

This could be a option only for shinies and legendaries, and normal pokemon wouldn't be able to be bought with nuggets.

So now the auction of nuggets would only be for shiny Pokemon and legendaries? Is that allowed to do to make an auction only for certain pokemon? And I guess I am asking Riako that if/when he reads this suggestion.

If it is possible then I think that handles the troll issue, but it doesn't solve the fact that nuggets, big and small, are rare and cost money. So this auction house wouldn't be bustling with people, I see most people trying to save their nuggets for premium or begging me people for nuggets in their feeds. I doubt enough people would have nuggets they want to spend on shinies or legendaries when they can buy them with easier to get PD.
