You picked it up to reveal it was an invite to a strange school. Unfolding the leaflet inside, a long message was printed:

Welcome to Vulpes' Academy of the Mystic! This is one of our first years teaching in this facility, or at all. You have been invited to this school because the following may be possible:

1.) You aren't exactly human.
2.) You possess strange qualities.
3.) You're just plain lucky; this is a special school!

Anyways, this school is special because it's the only school near you that teaches non-humans and is capable of teaching magic. Only certain individuals get invited to this school. Most of the non-humans invited are humanoid Pokemon called "gijinkas", according to Japanese culture. They have similar traits to people, but are more like Pokemon. The faculty of this building is compromised of people like this.

The staff members are much more powerful than a normal gijinka that may be invited to this school. This has inspired many rumors about what makes them this way or how they might use their powers. Please refrain from spreading these.

Our schedules are very flexible, so you can take any classes at any time or take a break whenever you wish. Our only request is that you be responsible with these capabilities.

Minor cursing is allowed.
Refrain from one-liners.

Confusiseo (Sp.): Confuses the target for a small amount of time.
Aurorus Apparatus (Sp.): Creates an aura around the caster that protects from minor forces.

RANK 2:
Mobilem Spiritenim (Sp.): Separates the spirit from the body.
Transpiritenim (Sp.): Moves a spirit into a body.
Restorem Minoris (Phys.): Slightly heals the target.

RANK 3:
Reflectendius (N/A): Reflects a Sp. Spell towards its caster.
Mystifeus Illusinum (Sp.): Creates an illusion to help distract the target.

RANK 4:
Fierem (Sp.): Generates a fireball (color depends on aura).
Restorem Majoris (Phys.): Heals the target almost completely.
Morphindo (Phys.): Changes the form of the caster.
Extermieus (Phys.): Kills a small entity, no matter its base.

RANK 5:
Mobius (Sp.): Creates an element-based entity.
Mobiitus (Sp.): Creates an elemental object.
Criato (Phys.): Creates an artificial object.
Oblitegra Totalis (Phys.): Destroys an artificial object of nearly any size.

Victoria walks in school. 'Well what should I do now? And why are people having tails!? More she looked around she was more suprised. Not only tails but also weiard ears and other things, like horns. 'That must be gijinkas or well however are they called.'

Oliver eyed the busy corridors of the school, looking for anyone of interest. Pretty much everyone here was a gijinka, he had realized. As he looked around the crowds, his mind started to wander. Will I meet anyone unusual? Is there anyone here that would like me? Will I make a few friends this year?, he thought quietly out loud. On the last skim of the large crowds, he noticed the human. "Well, this year might be interesting," he smiled in a gentle manner.

Your name was Kai Buckley, and you are walking through the halls. Okay, that was a lie. You were practically skateboarding through this crowd of people. It probably wasn't the safest thing to do, but you did it anyways. Nothing was going to stop you at this rate. Alright, maybe something could, but not now! You were having too much fun! As Kai looked around, he spots someone that seemed to spark his interests. This could most likely be a trick filled year for him.
