This is a club for all those Pokemon fans who have spent even a small portion of their time looking for those alternately colored little critters on the official Pokemon games. We're here to discuss our current hunts, what methods are currently known, and congratulate those fans that have been victorious. (Nothing wrong with a little bragging when it comes to these rarities, am I right? ;) )

Any successful hunts so far?: Yep! Eleven. About ten, if you don't count the random Shiny Pidgey that broke my Pokeradar chain.
On any hunts right now?: Yep, I'm on one! Currently Masuda Methoding for a Shiny Sandile.

Favorite Shiny Pokemon?: I LOVE Shiny Ampharos, and Yvetal solely because it looks kind of like Bacon.
Any successful hunts so far?: Haha all failed because I used the circle pad :'D

Oh okay, my bad then. But still I recommened you to join the other club as it seems to be more developed and active. This isn't supposed to be advertising, just an advice. It will be up to the mods to decide.

Mirej, thank you, but I have noticed that that one is a little more focused on PokeHeroes shinies, if I understand correctly, while this one can be solely for the official games (I will take that little part of out the introduction about PokeHeroes in recognition of the other clan.) :)

@Oddballme: Congrats! I've heard that the chances of getting a shiny are raised in the Friend Safari, but I can't remember the exact numbers. I just wish we could use the pokeradar there. That would be such a perfect spot, lol.

Beating the game for a shiny? Like, to transfer over a shiny to Gen 6? I think you can be gifted a shiny Dratini or Gible in Black and White 2. But they're not very easy to get...I think you need to have caught every Pokemon in the Pokedex? Or maybe I'm mixing that up with the Shiny Charm. xD

I'm still trying to beat Pokemon Platinum so I can get my shiny Nidoking out of my Firered game. Unfortunately, I started a Nuzlocke on it...And I'm too heartbroken to continue it at the moment. xD;

I just prefer to do it after the game because I'm too impatient knowing there's a league or a gym sooner or later before me.
Anyways, did anyone else notice that Yvetal's shiny looks like bacon? :D

@Oddballme: Yeah, I get that, lol. When I first started shiny hunting it completely derailed me from the actual game. xD And yes...It does! Interestingly enough, there should be no legit Xerneas and Yvetals out right now, since the game is coded for those two to never be shiny. And events can't be traded away (if there are any events that give out those shinies.) Kind of confuses me why the developers would do that. D:

Maybe it's because there's a cut scene, and if it was shiny they would have to make a whole new cut scene with the sparkles and the new model.
I saw it in a video. I'd actually like the shiny versions, and I'd take them anyway. As long as they have the same stats as they do now.

That's a good point! Though they could have just left the cut scenes as they were, and only had the sprite be shiny. But that would have drove all the shiny hunters crazy. xD

Anyway, I haven't caught/hatched a shiny in a while. I finally picked my Sandile hunt back up yesterday, and took a break from it today to do some Pokeradar hunting. I caught a shiny Pancham! :D I named her Coco. <3
