Um, what does one put in a journal? Idk... Anyway.
I'll make this pretty later. It is too hard on my iPad.

Loved:
Pokémon: Reason for being loved.
Charizard: Ever met Charcoal? He's the reason I love Charizard :)
Raichu: I am a Raichu (despite what my username may lead you to believe). They're just so cute, too!
Arcanine: I had an Arcanine in my Diamond game, the first Pokémon that I played that was actually mine. I loved her.
Tentacool: Same reason as Arcanine. My cousin gave me both of them and told me they were rare. When I found out they weren't I wasn't even that upset because I loved them both too much.
More coming later.
Most Hated:
Drowzee: My absolute least favorite Pokémon because I found a random encounter shiny Tentacool while training my Drowzee, Sleepy. As you know from the list above, I love Tentacruel and would have loved a shiny one for my team, especially since I was struggling to find a decent water Pokémon for my team (I used shiny Gyarados later). Sleepy was a super scrub Pokémon; even with the type advantage and being several levels above the Tentacools it hadn't managed to take any of them down in less than three hits. Then Sleepy decided to land his first OHKO. ON MY SHINY TENTACOOL. I sat in shock for a few minutes before calmly leveling Sleepy until it evolved, then swimming to the Pokécenter, where I deposited him in a box and never looked back. He still sits there in shame to this day.
Hypno: Refer the reason for hating Drowzee.

Guess what! You have no idea
what is going on in someone else's world, even if you live with
them! We all see the world differently and react in different ways.
Someone who seems cheerful and happy on the outside could be
holding in something dark. People who act dark and gloomy could be
full of light and joy. We're all different, unique, individual,

over ourselves and start accepting it!
Don't torment someone because of their flaws. Bullies don't just do it, people who try to stop bullies do it, too. So many times I see people "fight back" to a bully by insulting them. Why?! What do you think that will do?! Now understand that it is perfectly natural to want to fight back, but hurting someone to do it only makes it worse. How do you know they aren't going to school/work/whatever and picking on someone because when they get home, someone is waiting there to do it to them? You don't.
When someone is seeking attention on the internet in the form of a troll, do you think they're doing it for fun? Maybe. But maybe they're doing it because they feel like they won't get the attention anywhere else. "Why don't they do nice things and try to get positive attention?" you might ask. Maybe they tried. Maybe we ignored them. Maybe you ignored them. Maybe they don't think anyone will want to or care about giving them positive attention.
We all have our demons. Don't pretend there is nothing at all in your life that bothers you. If there really isn't, don't ever leave your house or go on the internet, because your perfect, happy bubble is a rare and delicate thing. Everyone is battling with their own darkness, and sometimes, all they need to win for the day is a smile. A freaking "Hey, how are you?" Someone to give a crap whether they wake up. Be that smile. Show the world that you give a crap.

• Oh boy, here we go. I decided to do this back in August and now I am working on it. This piece is being written in May, the night after catching Constellation. I wasn't planning on doing any sort of blog along with the hunt, but after reading another person's account of their badge quest and setting up my own and realizing how long and hard they can be, I decided that I do want to document my own experience.
First Shiny, the Starter:
January 31st, 2016
Ripley, female, Totodile >> Croconaw, Bashful, "Thoroughly cunning."
• THAT TOOK FOREVER! I was sitting at the table after months of on-and-off hunting, chatting to my dad about shiny Pokémon and trying to explain what they are and what they mean to me as a trainer and just to the Pokémon community in general when there she was, sitting in the machine between a normal Chikorita and Cyndaquil! I was ecstatic, since I had been hoping for a Totodile. I played through SoulSilver with a shiny Meganium and had soft reset this HeartGold before to get a shiny Cyndaquil, which I sent to SS before resetting for this quest, so I wanted that last shiny. I had all these awesome names picked out, but since the gender ratio is leans so much towards males that I thought a female would be impossible, I had no girl names picked. There the little red symbol was, and I groaned. My dad thought I was crazy since I'd gotten an even rarer version of the rare thing I wanted, but I was not pleased. I sat for a minute, stumped on what to call her, when I thought Ripple sounded cute. My dad misheard me and said "Ripley?" and as a HUGE fan of the Alien movies, I replied "No, but I'm using it!" Ripley was born!
Next up on the hunt list, anything on Route 31 (RA).
Second Shiny, the Zephyr Badge:
May 11th, 2016
Toast, male, Caterpie >> Kakuna >> Butterfree, Quirky, "Likes to relax."
• My mom talked me into driving my brother to his baseball game after his piano lesson, since my sister also had her lesson and would make my brother super late to the game. I decided to get some hunting in while there, and as I was admiring a pretty cuckoo clock in the piano instructor's house, out of the corner of my eye I saw some yellow and extra movement on my screen. I looked down and BOOM! Shiny Caterpie. My mother startles easily, and my brother was practicing with his instructor, so I managed to control my enthusiasm into a small gasp and throwing my hand over my mouth, which prompted my mother to raise her eyebrow at me. I quickly threw a Poké Ball and caught him without having to touch him, which is good since I have a bad habit of KOing shinies on accident. I held back my happy squeaks and named him Toast, though started to regret it almost immediately. I name all of my Caterpies, Metapods, and Butterfrees Toast because puns. (Butter free... get it? Yeah...) After a quick grinding session, Toast evolved into Metapod and then Butterfree. I stared at his pretty shiny body and as I gazed into his super green eyes, I decided that I would change his name eventually. To what? You'll find out. ;)

Third Shiny, the Hive Badge:
May 28th, 2016
Constella (Constellation), female, Hoothoot >> Noctowl, Lonely, "Often dozes off."
• This didn't take nearly as long as Ripley or Toast to find, but man did it feel like it. This girl was so elusive because I was so restricted in when I could hunt, since Hoothoot only appears at night, which in-game starts at 8:00 pm and ends at 4:00 am. I was up until 4:00 several nights hunting this thing, and last night I got it. Yet another female shiny that I would have preferred male, but after naming her, I really like her as a girl anyways. I had just caught a shiny Tympole while fishing and was still freaking out about it when, like with Toast, I saw yellow and extra motion in the corner of my eye. My sister was asleep since it was the middle of the night, about 2:00 am, so I again had to choke down my enthusiasm to a quiet level, which ended up involving a ton of fist pumping the air. I had been thinking about names for this Pokémon for a while, and decided that no matter which gender I got, it would be named Constellation since owls are nocturnal and the shiny sparkles when they come out of the ball remind me of stars in the sky. I forgot, however, that until recent generations, nicknames could only be 10 letters long, so I got stuck at Constellat, which just isn't as pretty. I talked it over with a friend, and she suggested the shortened version, Stella, which isn't a name I'm fond of (I would constantly mentally be screaming "HEY STELLLAAAAAAAAAA!!!" ... thanks Streetcar), so I said "Constella" and we both loved it. I will often be referring to Constella as Constellation, but I might also sometimes call her Connie or Stella, so if you see those, you know who I mean.
As a side-note, Toast got his new name!

Fourth Shiny, the Plain Badge:
June 6th, 2016
Jafar, male, Abra >> Kadabra >> Alakazam, Mild, "Sturdy body."
• I was really indecisive on this hunt. At first I planned on hunting Sudowoodo until I realized that I had to beat the Gym in Goldenrod before I could do that. I have never been the biggest fan of the Abra line. I don't dislike them, but I had never used any. After watching a Soul Link with two PokéTubers, one used an Alakazam named Jafar, and I decided that since it was such an absolute beast, I would also get one and name it Jafar to honor it! I sort of cheated and used a solving helper online to get enough Game Coins to hunt a few Ekans, which was the original goal after I realized how many I needed to fill the party with Dratini, but I think I earned enough honestly for the Abras I got. My stepdad was reading the fourth Harry Potter book to the family when I found him. I almost missed him since Ripley was at the beginning of the party and I was looking at her shiny star when I went to him and didn't even process that he also had a shiny star. Then I did a double take when I noticed that the following three Abras were darker and I wasn't sure if I was seeing things. I went back up the group and sure enough, the first one was shiny! That was one of the shortest hunts I've ever done. The battle with Whitney gave him one level up, which was enough to evolve him into Kadabra, so I traded him over to my Soul Silver for evolution and sent him back. Now he's comfortably inside my Pokewalker while I hunt the next teammate. The next shiny I planned to hunt was the Sudowoodo since now I have the watering can, but I have a much more exciting hunt in mind. (As a side-note, while battling Whitney, Ripley evolved. I will update the image of her later.)

Fifth Shiny, the Fog Badge:
May 16th, 2017
Puff, female, Dratini, Hasty, "Often lost in thought."
• PHEW!!! Okay, so... Nearly a year since this was updated, I know. I was trying, really! Well, I tried for about seven months. You see, the surprise hunt I was mentioned after my last hunt, Jafar, was actually a double hunt for Raikou or Entei. I really love the dogs and was hoping for a shiny Entei, but the process for hunting them is excruciating, it really is. Because they are roaming, in order to hunt them, you have to walk back and forth between routes, check the map each time you cross over to the new route, see if one of them is on the same route as you, go find and encounter them, run away if they aren't shiny, then walk between routes AGAIN for the second one, then reset the game if neither is shiny. On a good reset, it took about five minutes. On a bad one? Up to an hour. Those dogs can be super annoying and avoid you. I just got so tired of doing that same process that I eventually stopped hunting. I lost all interest. However, a few weeks ago, I decided it was time to end my semi-hunting-hiatus and get back to it.
I did a ton of grinding on the stupid Voltorb Flip like I did with the hunt for Jafar and began hunting Dratini. It's funny to me because Jafar was an Abra, which cost 500 Game Coins each. To fill my party, it cost me 2500 Game Coins. That would buy me ONE Dratini, who cost 2100. In order to fill my party with those it took 10500. That's a lot of Voltorb Flip! I eventually got them all and the hunt went to a little under 5000 Dratini seen when I finally got her. I was in the car with my best friend heading home from Walmart. I brought my DS with me and decided to do some hunting, since it's a hunt that I don't have to pay attention to and could still chat with her. I was slightly worried because my DS battery light was red and it's never good to hunt on a low battery, but it ended up not mattering. I jokingly told her I was going to see if she is lucky but she actually was! I finally got my pink snek! Puff is named after Puff the Magic Dragon from Peter, Paul, and Mary, a group that I have loved since I was a kid. I was hoping for a male Dratini since Puff is male in the song, but I decided to name it that no matter the gender. I decided to hunt something other than the two legendary dogs because hunting for so long with no results really wears on the spirit and I needed some reconfirmation that I could get shinies in the game before getting back to it. However, I have my confirmation now, so I feel ready to go back to that hunt again and will hopefully be successful this time around!

Donors get to choose which Eos Pokémon they
want. This benefits both me and the donor because I get an egg for
my hunt and they don't have to search the Tall Grass in the hope of
getting the correct egg. If you would like to be a donor, PalPad me. Do
not send me an Enigma Stone without first contacting me, or else it
will not count as a donation and you will not receive your Eon
Pokémon back. There will be limited slots for each Eon Pokémon

Coming out as demisexual
So... For a while now, I've just been calling myself "borderline ace" because I was sick of people asking me about how hot I thought people were, and this answer seemed to shut them up for a while. However, I decided to do some research into my actual orientation.
I rarely find myself physically attracted to people. I find online interaction far easier than real ones, and I used to think that it was because I am shy and it's easier to chat online, but I actually think it is because it takes away the physicality of interaction. I have spent a long time in constant fear of relationships becoming physical, and I was never super comfortable with being asked how attractive I think people are, even a casual "Woah, look how hot that guy over there is." I barely even like being hugged unless I am in an extremely stressed mood and I trust the person who is hugging me.
Even when I form celebrity crushes, it is usually based on liking them initially through a character they play, then reading about real personality, or simply liking the character, or in the case of YouTubers, it is after finding out things that we have in common. Even these crushes, though, are purely romantic. I don't feel any physical urge to be with someone, but I do immensely wish I could talk to them and really get to know them on a more personal level.
This isn't to say that I don't find anyone physically attractive; I think there are some really drop-dead gorgeous people out there, even if they might have a sort of yucky personality. However, my initial response to their appearance does not lead to any sort of attraction in a physical way, it's more of an admiration of their beauty. I rarely feel any attraction like that towards anyone I don't know well. Like I said, it is more of a want to talk to them and bond emotionally and/or mentally. Only after really getting to know someone do I feel any kind of physical attraction.
I decided that because I do feel some physical attractions and do have urges of that manner, I am not completely asexual, but then I was confused because I am clearly not purely sexual. The idea of a one-night stand repulses me, and even hugging strangers makes me uncomfortable. I recoil at the idea of hugging or kissing someone I met five minutes ago. I only enjoy playful flirting if I know that the person doing the flirting is completely innocent and has no real intention of trying to interact with me any further than that. Even right now, at the time of typing this, I have a pretty big crush on someone. I've known him about three years, but only for about one year have talked to him regularly and more casually, and the crush is only about a month old. As of now, the most physical I want to be is a desperate want to hug him. Anything beyond that is pretty... nah.
After some reading, I have determined that I am demisexual and heteroromantic. I only feel attraction towards men romantically. I have close friendships with some women, but never felt anything romantic towards them. I am demisexual because I do not feel any kind of physical or romantic attraction towards anyone unless I have gotten to know them pretty well. Given the choice between having a deep intellectual conversation or, say, bingeing a show on Netflix, and being physical with someone, I would gladly choose talking or bingeing any day.
