@emelicious Wolves aren't a legal pet at Hogwarts sadly. I'm allowing Snakes, Toads, Owls, Cats, and other common pets. You're character is accepted though!

For now, I want to stick with what I said before due to trying to stick with what the book said about Hogwarts, but maybe if everyone else is okay with you having a dog then I'll allow it. I don't want anyone to think it is unfair.

(This comment is totally irrelevant now that you already came to an agreement but I feel like adding my two cents anyway.) I wouldn't think it would have been 'unfair' per se but I can see how some people could get upset by it. However, what I think it would have been is 'weird' and 'unfitting'. Like Darkness_Arisen, I'm more comfortable sticking close to the canon so someone having a dog as a pet would feel completely out of place. Also, with one such twist it's easier to allow others to follow and things might end up being ridiculous in the end if that makes any sense. :p

@emelicious: I think you can just sort yourself like the rest of us. Just have Mcgongall call Clover's name yourself and then have the hat announce which house Clover will be in. If you're unsure about how to go with it, just look at other people's earlier posts and how they 'sorted themselves'. For example, here's how Darkness_Arisen herself did it and the rest of us went with a similar thing:

"Ravyn bounced, waiting in anticipation until her name was called. "Smith, Ravyn" Ravyn felt a surge of butterflies fly into her stomach, but she shoved them away and made her way to the sorting hat. The hat was silent for a few moments, before calling out, "Well there is no doubt about this one. HUFFLEPUFF!" Ravyn went right to her table when the hat was taken off her head. She had a huge grin plastered onto her face, even though from what she heard a lot of people made fun of Hufflepuff. She didn't care. She was just glad to have the opportunity to even be in this school"
(^I hope Darkness doesn't mind I used her as an example.)

Also, regarding that, Darkness you should probably rename this thread
"Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry (Set-up)"
or
"Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry (OOC)"

and then rename the RP thread
"Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry (RP)"
or
"Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry (IC)".

That way people wouldn't confuse the two and it would be clear which thread is which. :3
