In a battle, I used a bug type attack on an absol, and it only hit for normal effectiveness. I attacked several times and it was never super effective.

[16/04/2015 23:49:34] Absol lost 46 HP.
[16/04/2015 23:49:33] Vespiquen attacked (Bug) the opponent.
[16/04/2015 23:49:30] Absol starts to charge its power.
[16/04/2015 23:18:38] That was a critical hit!
[16/04/2015 23:18:38] Absol lost 94 HP.
[16/04/2015 23:18:37] Vespiquen attacked (Bug) the opponent.

I know for a fact that bug is super effective against dark. Is there some obscure reason for this that I'm missing? If not this should be fixed.
