i think the release option should not be available on retro pokemon and legendary pokemon because if you accidently click it by mistake you lose a very valuable and hard to get pokemon which is not good.

No support, you already get two warnings if you click the release button, even if it's by accident o:

well didn't know that lol haven't released yet from a party only from a storage box and that only did 1 warning

Honestly, I'd support this for those and shiny Pokemon, because I doubt anybody will ever want to release them, but I can't see this as being done.
