Lance Claymore

"Hey! No fair!"

Lance looked down at the younger boy hugging his dewott to his chest on the ground. The boy was on the verge of tears as raindrops slowly started falling to the ground. Lance took no pity on him and scoffed as his patience was growing thin.

"Stop whining kid, I won fair and square. Pay up and I'll let you run back to your mommy."

As he finished his sentence, Lance nodded at his jolteon that stood by his side and the pokemon took few steps towards the boy and his fainted pokemon. As the boy shrunk in on himself, keeping a fearful eye on the menacing jolteon, Lance walked past his pokemon and stopped right in front of the boy before speaking again.

"You know, my friend Baron there isn't known for his patience, nor am I. Just stick to our deal and we'll be on our way."

The boy dug a few bills from his pocket and handed them to Lance before returning his fainted dewott to its pokeball and jogging away. The rain was starting to pour down and Lance took out Baron's pokeball, returning the jolteon to it. There was no reason for the both of them to get soaked. Turning on his heel, Lance began walking away as well.

"Now, let's get outta this blasted rain."

Ferren Roker

Ferren had been entertaining a young zorua by playing tag with her when the rain started pouring on them. The zorua fled back home, understandably not wanting to get wet, while Ferren simply stayed in the open forest. The trees prevented him from getting soaked but the water that got trough the layers of leaves was icy cold as it landed on him.

"Rain's so stupid, why can't it be sunny all the time?"

"You're a moron, aren't you? The forest needs the rain, otherwise there would be no place for you to hang out."

"Jeez, no need to be a jerk. Can't you see I just don't want to get soaked and catch the flu or something?"

"Pffft, you're just upset because I'm right."

"Oh, shut up"

The fearow gijinka huffed as he ended his lonely monologue and climbed onto the lowest branch of the nearest tree. Raindrops still dripped on his head but he was mostly sheltered for the time being. He didn't even bother to go look for a better place to wait for the rain to end. At least he got to sit in that tree by himself.
