Okay, so you know when you are looking for items you want being held by pokemon in GTS and The Auction House? Wouldn't it be easier if you could have a button to search for it? My proposition it that we could add a button for that.
It would be just like the "Search for pokemon" drop down list, but it would show the pokemon's held item instead of the pokemon!

Alternatives:
Replace the drop down list with a button showing all pokemon holding items in the AH

Possible Uses:
-When looking for a trade that you and another person set up, and you don't know what pokemon the other person set up.
-Trying to find pokemon holding an item you want

Possible Benefits:
-Shortened Search Time
-Easier to find things

Feel free to suggest ways to add onto and improve this suggestion :3

I was just thinking about making a similar suggestion earlier today.
Support.
I like the promoted auctions in the AH, as that is generally for shinies/rare items to be sold, but in most cases there are more than 5 people selling items in the AH. And I have to go to quite a few Poke'mon profiles just to see if that Poke'mon is even holding an item. This would make finding item auctions a lot easier if you're there to just buy a Gracidea or a Weather Balloon.

And having a search feature for the GTS only including items would be just lovely for me, personally. I get a few extra maps here and there and really wish at times I could just find other people wanting to swap maps without having to go through the rigamaroll of making my own trade thread and all. It'd be cool to just pop into the GTS, offer my map on someone elses' map and be done.

I was thinking about suggesting something like this too. I was having trouble finding an auction my friend had set up for an item I was looking for. I was looking through so many pages being unable to find it.

I can definitely see an option of looking for Pokemon holding items only in the auction house. It would really save some time.

EDIT: Or at least show what item the Pokemon are holding (if so), when you look at what Pokemon are up for auction. It only shows the Pokemon holding items in the Promoted section.

I support and also I think there should be a button, like there is "Missing Dex Entry" or "Shinies" in Auction House, with "Pokemon with items" which would show all pokemon that hold something (not specific what item).

Normal Gems for Ditto collected:

1 561 / 10 000

To get:

+Pidgeot,Beedrill,Slowbro,Sceptile,Swampert,Camerupt,Glaile,Gallade & Event Megas
