Napoleon had been staring. Not really anywhere specific, because he could see them everywhere, murals. They've been drawn all over the walls, giving a big question as to who put them there, it's strange, it's almost as if he's seen the pictures before. Either way, a voice had broken his line of thought. "So, are the passed out bodies talking now?" He said, not even trying to look in the other's direction

Ziu barks again, and Maru's voice can be heard from another room not too far away. "MALS, SHUT YOUR DOG UP." Mals rolls his eyes, but his voice doesn't lose it's flirty tone. "Anything for you, sweetheart!" He calls back, and Ziu looks up at him, whining again. "Baby, can you get Eris for me? Thank you." Mals says to her, and the dog runs off, barking again.
"Sorry about that, Maru's kind of a jerk." He says, pointing his thumb in the direction the voice had come from. "Anyways, I think my note kind of explained some stuff, but Eris might give me his little angry look if I don't answer questions. So ask away."

The Queen siblings eyed Mals suspiciously, AJ's hand slipping into her brother's Asher anxiety cranked up. Carson squeezed it back reassuring.

-2 things for Sylvie: 1, sorry dude. I kinda just went with the first thing that popped into my mind. Didn't even really read your post. 2, that wasn't heck. Think another four letter h word

Oliver woke up slowly at first, blinking lightly. Upon realizing he had been asleep in a place he had never seen before, he bolted upright. He looked around at everyone, his once groggy eyes were filled with alarm. He knew no one, and nothing.

Maria had sat awake for a few minutes, boredom evident on her face. She didn't show her extreme layer of fear; instead decided to stare blankly at the ground, not swallowing the lump in her throat.

"I'm Mals. Just Mals, don't call me anything Maru calls me. I brought you here because if I didn't you'd probably have your guts ripped out by a forest hound within a week." He replies, his voice cheery. "Demon blood makes you guys like beacons. Course, I really shouldn't be saying anything, since I'm pretty much a beacon too, but creatures usually try to avoid me."

"Well of course they physically exist." Mals says, looking slightly puzzled. "They just tend to be slight-shifters, so they change their forms a lot. That way they're hidden. But they always smell the same, and their blood tastes the same, too." He pauses, thinking, then grins. "Ok, that sounds a little creepy, but I promise it was for a good reason."

"What does a demon even smell like?" Carson asked. "Smoke?"
"Sulfur and brimstone," AJ answered. "The two main elements of hell."
Carson looked to her, accepting her logic. Afterall, AJ was taking a theology course. She would know.

Oliver listened to the conversation, his breathing heavy and scared. He shook in his place, biting his lip and glancing around. His hands were baling up the fabric of his skirt, the look on his face pure terror. His breathing continued quickly and heavy.

Maria listened to the conversation almost lazily, running a hand through her long, thick hair. She inhaled lightly, keeping her same bored expression. She glanced over at the red head, and raised her eyebrows. "Is he hyperventilating?" She said softly, talking to herself extremely quietly.

He stood, pulling his sister up beside him, and headed over to him. He kneeled down before him, releasing his sister's hand. "Hey, what's your name?"

'Demon blood? So... Does that make me a demon? But I can't possibly be a demon. I was living a perfectly normal-ish life before I woke up here...'

Rosalba sighs, still confused somewhat.

'But then, what purpose do we have here? And why is this demon blood so special?'

Oliver stared up at the other boy, scampering backwards until his back hit the wall with a "thump". He gazed up at the boy, his eyes wide and filled with fear. He swallowed, opening his mouth. "O-o-Oliver..." He whimpered softly, blinking up at the other boy with alarm and distrust in his eyes.

Maria watched the incident, feeling bad. She hadn't meant to bring forth attention to the freaked out kid.

Oliver gazed up at them, throat dry. He stammered over his words, finally forming a sentence, "There's a-a-a lot of p-pe-people and I don't k-know where I am, wh-who anyone is, wha-what's happening, or why I have thi-this stupid blood or what-what-whatever!" He said with a quivering voice and clutched hands.

Maria glanced at Dean with a smirk. What a doorknob. She looked away, running another hand through her hair.

"So you're feeling anxious," Carson summed up as he sat crosslegged before the other boy. "AJ struggles with that too. Don't worry, we know how to help. Oliver quivered, and began to speak. "Uhm... I like music and humming. And counting helps, too." He said, voice unsteady but not stammering. He clutched his hands together, and brushed a lock of hair from his face with a soft sniffle. He gritted his teeth, glancing away for a moment with a deep breath.

The amount of thoughts, questions and possibilities circling her mind was giving her a mild headache. She couldn't wait to get out of the room, despite not knowing what or who was on the other side.
