Turns out, the children at the Minami Dormitory are like test subjects. They were orphans who were subjects for a project including a serum. The serum was injected in their body 2 years before they entered the dorm. Turns out the serum wasn't perfect and the side-effects were researched by matching the subject's statistics and how the serum reacted with them.
The serum was one that gave abilities to whoever it has been injected in. But the side-efects turned out bad, there were catches to each childs abilities. Also, the abilities were random as they reacted with the child's personality, soul, body, DNA etc.
The Minami Dormitory provides protection to these teens who now have to live with their abilities. The staff at the dorm knew that one day would come when their abilities will activate and they had to be prepared for it.
The scientists had sealed the abilities the children gained as they were not perfect abilities. But the formula to the seal was burnt and the scientists killed. One certain day the effect of the seal wore off, 3 and a half years after the seal was put. The abilities were usable once again for the now teens and it is up to them how to use their abilities. Its been a week since the abilities activated, a week since they knew the catches to their abilities and their journey of life begins anew from here!

Mika was in her room, she was still upset about the abilities thing and the side-effect scared her, she was writing in her diary about her thoughts as she laid on her bed , writing
Kuro was sitting on the couch in the common room, he wanted to try his ability though the side-effect bothered him, he actually looked quite calm upon knowing that he had been experimented on, though it was only a front he put up, on the inside he was still boiling
Tomoya was preparing something to eat in the kitchen, he was the most calm and unaffected of all outside also, inside also, he was preparing sandwhiches as he hummed a tune
Ririko was taking a bath to cool down, she felt like she had stressed out too much, she was thinking about the weeks events as she bathed

Mika was almost done writing her diary note when she somehow heard Tomoya, she wasn't feeling hungry but still she closed her diary after finishing the note and left her room to join the others in the common room
Kuro licked his lips at the sight of sandwiches and picked up one "Thanks Tomo" he said as he took a bite and munched on his sandwhich "its good" he said
"Its Tomoya" He said while eating his own sandwich in a very polite and gentlemanly manner
Ririko had finished her bath and she changed into some casual clothes as she headed for her phone to check some things

Jacob and Serenity both were hanging out in the game room playing on a dance, dance revolution game to the song stamp on the ground by the italobrothers, the both of them getting perfect's with each step as they followed the beat while singing the lyrics in unison.

Nathan sat in a library of sort's reading a book on the different kind's metal, seeing which kind would work better or be the prettiest, the prettiest being silver or gold, whereas copper or iron worked better.
i wonder if there's at least a supply of metal silverware here... he wondered.

Tomoya finished his sandwich and dabbed his lips lightly with the handkerchief he kept with him "how do you like it everyone?" He asked with a soft smile
"Its great Tomoya! Thanks for them" Kuro answered with a thumbs up as he munched the final bite and licked his lips
Mika paid no heed to the now bustling and noisy common room, she continued reading though it got somewhat difficult as the noise continued to rise
