Anyone know what i can do with relic copper/vase/etc.? Is it something I've unlocked?

They'll come in handy once you've unlocked the Emera Beach - which you should've by now, as it unlocks on Trainerlevel 12 if I'm not mistaken. Just explore the beach and you should find out what to use them for pretty soon. ^^

It seems i can trade them into rarer relics and thats about it.

There's a new relic-trade every day. You'll have to check a few times to see if something better shows up ;)
