Oliver looked at Matt and gave an apologetic smile. "It's quite
alright, hun." He walked over, stretching out his hand slowly. "I'm
Oliver. Oliver Hymun." He said, his hand held out for the other
male to shake. He tilted his head a bit as he gazed up at him.
Oksander walked around in circles, muttering as he waited for the
next directions. All the 2nd-7th year students had already climbed
back up the stairs and filed into the Great Hall. "Now
children...once all of you have changed into your robes, I'll will
lead you up into the Great Hall. In there, right in the middle of
the room is a table. Usually the professors eat there, but tonight,
the table is covered in wands. They're in boxes of course! When
your name is called, you will step forward and try out different
wands. When you find the right wand...well you'll know when it's
the right one...after that, go find a seat at your house's table.
Understand?" Oksander nodded his head. He directed his eyes toward
the restrooms, hoping the others still in there would hurry up.
James apologized, but the other boy had already ran off. Sighing to
himself, the teen joined the mass of students filing into the Great
Hall, having heard the announcement.
Meanwhile, Corrie was introducing herself to Nyx. "Hi! My name's
Corrie! You're a first year too right? It's nice to meet you!" She
said in excitement.
Corrie gave a thoughtful frown when Nyx stuttered. So she was shy?
That was no good. The other girl needed more confidence.
"What kind of wand do you think you'd get? I'm hoping to get one
with a Feather core, though I suppose any wand would be fine as
long as we can use it."
Nyx blushes slightly."I..I hope to get o..one with a feather
c..core as well."She admits."Though y..you are right.As long a..as
we can use t..them it should not m..matter what wand we get."
