Angel chuckled and nodded. "I can understand the problem actually, my wings are hidden as tattoos on my back as well, though they don't move like your tails. The feathers are very sensitive but very durable. They can take a beating, but it can hurt like he-heck." She was going to curse, but in smaller company she would refrain. "Sometimes it's okay to let people see my wings, like when someone is in shock from their injuries they think I'm actually an angel and I calm them instead of scare them."

Danny looked up at her, his lips worked up in a smirk. Had she just put a filter on herself because he and Nat were around? He wondered if she realized he'd heard worse on the street or the decade before the streets. "That sounds really nice. Though, I don't think they imagine you are. If there are angels, then you definitely are one." Reaching up, he made sure his hair was tucked over his pointed ears. He probably didn't need to hide them. Especially with the girls.

"Poo, I've done my fair share of getting my hands bloody," Angel giggled a faint blush on her cheeks. "I'm no angel." She held open the door to the clothing store letting Danny and Nat enter. Nat left Danny's side to walk around the store exploring and looking at what she planned to buy for herself once she got a job. "Now, I want you to pick a couple different outfits, one that's nicer to wear out to dinners and other things, and a more comfortable one for just regular stuff like shopping or going to play." Angel stayed by his side to help if she could or if he wanted.

Danny looked around, worried about picking something expensive or that wouldn't match. That had been something his parents hated. Frowning, he looked around. Heading towards some jeans, he found a nice pair of dark blue ones looked through for ones that he thought would fit. Next he looked over at the t-shirts. Not finding one he liked he picked up a nice button down in black. "Can you help me pick out a nicer outfit? I don't want to pick one that is wrong," Danny said, looking over at Angel.

Angel followed him around and nodded at his choices. "There's not much that you could do wrong, but I'd love to help, now let's see, you're about a medium, so how about this one for a nice shirt and these for nice pants?" She pulled out a deep green dress shirt and dark brown dress pants. "Well, this makes you look like a tree," She chuckled and put the pants back and pulled out a black pair. "How about this instead?"

Danny nodded, reaching out to run his hand over the fabric. "It feels so nice. I should try them on. Make sure they fit," he said, taking the hangers from her. "Do you want to see them before we get them?" He asked, looking for the sign for the fitting room.

The dressing room was in the corner. "I'd love to see them before we get them if you'd be willing to model them for me," She chuckled and walked over to a bench to sit and wait.

Danny went in to change. First, he changed into the fancier clothes. He wanted to make sure those fit first so that he could wear the other clothes after they bought them. He was quite happy with the fit and came back out a few moments later. "How does it look?" He asked, turning slowly.

Angel stood as she saw him come out and she drew in a slow gasp. "You look quite the young man in that. A bit more grown up I might add," Nat came over and smiled clapping her hands together. "Oh you look so handsome!" She giggled happily.

Danny gave a little bow, smiling shyly. "Good. I like them. It is a lot nicer feeling then fancy stuff I've worn before and the colors are cool. I'll try on tbe other outfit."

"I'm glad you like them," Angel said sitting down pleased that Danny was happy and smiling. Nat sat down as well and they talked quietly about other things to do with Danny.

Danny nodded to himself in the mirror about the second outfit. It made him look mature in his eyes. Heading back out, he modeled it for the girls as well. "I like this one too. The jeans make my legs look longer. Makes me look and feel taller," he said. "Should I change into what I was wearing and we can head off? Or maybe I can change into this after we pay for it."

Angel stood again and walked over this time and gave a slightly closer inspection. "I like it as well, this one makes you look like you're comfortable in it. Confident." She smiled and hugged him. "You can keep that one on or change into the other one and they can just scan the tags if you take them off and hand them to me," Nat got up and waited until Angel was done hugging and he had given her the tags to get her hug in.

Danny hugged them both in turn, feeling good. Picking up his backpack, he said, "Shall we follow her? I'm excited. Things are looking up."

"Yeah, come on!" Nat was just as excited as he was. She stayed by his side as they followed Angel to the counter where she handed in the tags and the cashier smiled and struck up small talk. "So how you all?" Angel chuckled and smiled politely in return. "We're all very good this morning, and you?"

"I'm well, thank you. Out with a little brother?" She asked, giving Danny a smile. "Some handsome choices here." She figured the girls where too young to have a kid his age. Danny wasn't too pleased with the little half of little brother but he liked that she thought he was one of the girls brother.

Nat stepped closer to him and scooped him up in her arms in a huge hug. Angel laughed and nodded. "We were all adopted, but siblings none the less." She'd forgive them both later on, but she didn't think that they all looked similar enough to be actually related, so better go with that story. "Have a good day," She said with a smile as she grabbed the bag with the change of clothes before heading out Nat in tow, who had released Danny.

Danny laughed, nudging Nat with his shoulder. "You are going to spoil me with all those hugs. Not that I am complaining. Your hugs are great," he said, padding after Angel. Sighing happily, he asked, "Where are we going for lunch?"

"I plan to spoil you with them and hopefully you'll spoil me back with your smiles and laughter." Nat nudged him back a bit gently. "Lunch will be at the Chinese place that we went to with Roxy and Elvira before. I'm not sure if you've ever been there, but it's amazing..."

Danny nodded, smiling. "I will spoil you back. I don't think I've ever been. I have jumped from city to city and ended up here. But I don't really have money. So I've never really eaten at restaurants in the four years on the run. Chinese sounds good though."
