Roxy thought it over. El did have night classes. Maybe she should think about going to do it now. "What do you think? Should I go now or wait until morning?" Roxy asked.

Roxy sighed, reaching out to squeeze El's hand. "I'll be back. I love you," she told her before standing and grabbing her purse. "I'll be back, then. Need me to bring anything back?"

"You got it," Roxy said, giving her a small hug before setting off. Roxanne hurried back to the apartment, her senses super heightened to be on the lookout. Once home, she found a schedule for Elvira's classes and set off for the school. It didn't take too long before she was in the first of Elvira's class's to talk to the professor.

The professor understood the issue and gave their condolences, the same as the other two professors. The first professor had to announce a transfer student, who was from a state that was almost on the other side of the country, before he could pay attention to Roxy. The new girl had long blonde hair pulled back in a braid and green eyes set in deeply tanned skin. After Roxy had talked to the last professor and was heading out, the girl with the white hair was just getting out of her class and was walking down the hall looking a little lost.

Roxy walked over to the girl, ready to offer help. "Hi. I'm not in your classes but I am dating one of your classmates. You look like you could use some help. Is there anything I can help you with?"

The girl jumped slightly and chuckled. "Yeah, I'm a bit lost. I just need to get outside, that was my last class so I'm on my way home." She smiled and offered her hand. "I'm Angel, which one of my classmates are you dating if I may know?"

"Nice to meet you, Angel. I'm Roxanne, but you can call me Roxy. I'm dating Elvira. She's in the hospital at the moment. We had a bad experience at the Comicon over the weekend," Roxy explained sadly. "I can help lead you out. I was headed out myself."

"Oh? She's the one that was absent. The professor talked about her a bit after you left. I'm sorry for what you're going through Roxy," Angel said sadly as she adjusted her book under her arm.

Angel smiled and nodded. "I hope so! Actually, I'm studying to be a doctor, or rather something of a general practitioner, but, well, you get the idea..." She chuckled. "Would it be okay if I came to visit?"

"I think that'd be okay. I don't see any reason why you can't," Roxy said, thinking it over. She was new in town so Roxy didn't think she could have something to do with their 'friend'. Besides, she hadn't come and sought Roxy out. Roxy had extended the olive branch. "Would you like my number? You can call me when you'd like to come visit."

"If you're willing to share it, I'd love your number." Angel dug into her pocket and pulled out an old style flip phone. "And I'll give you mine so that you can reach me. Not sure what for, but who knows." She chuckled giving Roxy her number. "I'm a night owl, so that's the best time to reach me, day time I'm likely sleeping, or rather trying to." Angel chuckled again, seemingly at an inside joke with herself.

"I'm with you on that. My job loves me for that reason. They can't keep receptionists with the hours I work. But I don't mind it there. It's great," Roxy said, leaving out her other day, or rather, night job.

"Lucky! I gotta find me a job that's okay with odd hours and the studying." Angel smiled and glanced up and down the main road they'd reached. "Well, I think I can find my way from here," She waved as she headed off. "Thanks for saving me Roxy!" She called out as she jogged down the sidewalk and into the darkness.

Angel headed off home with plans to explore the city that she'd soon call home.

Nat smiled as Roxy came back. "Thank you!" She seemed almost surprise that she'd remembered.
