The king and queen gathered all of their children into the main dining hall of the castle for supper. "We are stepping down from the throne. We need a new ruler." They explained to all of their kids, now all grown up, and old enough to run the kingdom.

The queen nudged in her seat. "Well we want to see first who has the most proper appearance, to be a role model." The queen exclaimed. Luna blushed, covering her colorful sleeves of tattoos with the sleeve of her sweater.

Grey blinked, and snatched up Oliver's hand. Sure, they had tons of other siblings, but they're super close. Oliver glanced at his brother, and ran a hand through his hair. Biting his painted lip, and turned back to his parents. His heart pounded in his chest, and his foot tapped rapidly on the floor. Grey shot him a reassuring smile, before looking around at the others. Oliver listened to the appearance statement, and his breath caught. Would they dislike a king that dressed like a queen?

Venus was silent and had the snake in his hand. It weighed over 20 pounds. The king looked at him and smiled. He looked at the others. He opened his book of alchemy notes and read. He hoped he would get the throne.

Luna stood up, and left. A couple minutes later, she came back to the dinner table with her white dwarf hamster, Sugar Cube, nibbling on her tiny piece of lettuce. Sugar Cube's tiny wings fluttered. The queen gave Luna a disapproving glare.

Harmony giggles then looks down at her Panda,Shi. She then looks back up at her farther. "May I be excused to the librabry papa? I want to study a little bit more on the history of our kigdom."

Oliver looked at Luna, and looked down. He sniffled, and shifted back and forth. He looked up at the king and queen again, brushing a lock of hair from his face. Grey shot a glare at Luna, and wrinkled his nose. He looked away, still holding Oliver's hand.

His snake midnight reappeared and swallowed the hamster. Venus looked up. "Hey no" he held his hand out and the snake spat out the hamster. He handed it to Luna. "Sorry about midnight" he said holding the snake

The king grinned. "Go ahead." He said, giving Harmony the key to the library, which usually locks at night. Luna pulled her hamster away, keeping Sugar Cube close to her. "I-I'ts fine, just don't do it again, I love Sugar Cube too much.." Luna said, scurrying away with Sugar Cube.

He looked at Midnight. "Why" he said Angirly. He put a device around midnights throat that he made. It allowed midnight to talk. It was a work in progress. It said on the device "I was hungry" he listened and looked at midnight. "I fed you yesterday!" He said impatient.

Oliver looked around for a moment, and softly asked. "May I be excused to my room, father, mother?" He asked softly, blinking up at his parents. He shifted, and pulled his hand from Grey's. Grey looked at his brother, and looked up to see Luna scamper away.

Frank walked to the library. He pushed the door to see that there was no resistance. "Harmony must be here already." He thought. "C'mon, Bill." He opened the door and walked to the nearest corner. He pulled out a deck of cards and started shuffling them to play Solitare.

Luna reached her bedroom, and locked the door. She cleaned Sugar Cube's delicate pink wings with a tissue, before softly petting her. Luna was mad that her mother let her stupid brother have a huge black snake in the first place.

The king and queen got up as well, and made their way to the bedroom. They would discuss more there.

"Ah? I'm taking that as a yes..." Oliver scampered off. He realized he could get something from the library, and smiled. He knew others were in there, but immediately went to the teen fiction section. He pulled out two books, and smiled. "Oh my Goth and Differences. Looks good." He went over to the Kingdom a History area, and noticed Harper. "Oh, hi Harper." He hummed, and grabbed a book on the general history of their kingdom. Grey blinked, and went to his room slowly.
