(It's also fine by me,it might be nearly impossible to progress if you just play as duo right now. Also what time is it?)
After some time trying to chase Veronica,she lost sight of her. She held back a groan and looked to her left. 'So i stopped in front of a shop. Might as well buy some food while i'm here.' Dea thought as she walked into the shop and purchased food from the kecleon.

Dea exited the shop while muching on an oran berry and putting a water bottle into her bag. She heard a voice next to her and saw Veronica.
"Uhm,excuse me,do you need something?"
She asked and dea asked her to confirm her thoughts "Ah yes,i want to confirm something,are you Veronica?"

Jolt skimmed the area, only to find berries and such. "I might as well go back home. But first, I'll just fly around." She got up and flew off back in the direction of home.

By the time Laurence had gotten there, the goodra was nowhere to be found, and Duo was gone. "Huh... he said, taking a bite out of a pecha berry he had stashed in his fur that morning, which was oddly capable of holding food safely like a bag. He still had no clue as to how that worked. Maybe it had to do with the thickness of his fur... He shook his head. He was getting distracted. Then, he noticed the goodra talking with a sylveon, near the kecleon shop. Curiosity getting the better of him, he inched towards them.

"Yup the one and only. And you have grown quite a lot as well." Dea said while grinning. After some time,she looked at the horizon,where the sun rise as she said. "I wonder how has it been since that time. It just seemed so far away." Dea said.

(Since everyone voted yes, I'll play as the Quilava character. Thanks for your input.)

A very clueless Quilava was walking down the same trail his leader had just went down for one last time. He was supposed to be doing what Duo told him to, "go investigate the town as a spy," but he got bored of the long speech and stopped listening. He saw a few Pokemon talking, but he didn't know who they were. All his life was lived inside of the tower tahat Duo sat in for most of his life, passing messages down to others endlessly, not knowing what living life free would be like...

But he was just a happy, young Quilava. He walked up to the other Pokemon. "What are you? Are you those Pokemon things Duo told me about?"

Dea hid her surprise as she heard a voice coming from a quilava,knowing very well what did he mean. However she feigned innocence,an expression she has practiced a lot of times as she greeted the quilava,knowing he was on of duo henchmen she saw earlier"A good day to you sir quilava,and how may i help you?" Dea greeted politely not wanting to take any risks for now.

Laurence approached the two strange pokemon, not noticing the guard. "Um, hello....?" he asked a bit meekly, "Are you two-" Then, he noticed the Quilava "Oh," he said, trying to hide his surprise.

He responded to what he heard with a simple "I dunno." He didn't hear the Goodra, but heard the Sylveon.

It was strange for him. Nobody had spoke to him like that. Everyone was just talking down to him either because it was Duo teaching him or Duo instructing him what to do.

"Do you have names?" He was pretty outgoing; he liked these new Pokemon. It was nice being able to talk to things that looked unfamiliar to him.

(Duo left saying there may be rebels upon him, and a Quilava was sent down in his place. A few old friends are having a sort of reunion.)

"Got room for one more?" Rhyno yelled at the reuniting pokemon.
He had mixed feelings about everything as he left early on in the battle against giratina but surely would they remember him.
