Fan Club for the upcoming mobile game, Pokémon GO! No registration needed and only current rule is no off-topic discussions.
Facts:
• Pokémon Gyms will exist, although not much is known about how this will work.
• You will have to travel to catch all available Pokémon.
• There will be limited/event Pokémon. Assumed these will be legendaries.
• Trading with others
• In-game purchases
• You have the choice to buy a gadget called "Pokémon GO Plus". This uses Bluetooth and will alert you of nearby Pokémon by lighting up and vibrating. Just press the middle of it and you will catch the nearby Pokémon automatically and can see your new catch next time you check your phone. Very useful if you are near one at work, a date, or during a final exam, wouldn't you say?
Rumors:
• Battling with other trainers
• Leveling of Pokémon
Other Notices:
• In the official trailer, you can see a number beside the pokeballs. Will this be an in-game purchase?

Yeah I'm excited. Kinda. A bit apprehensive and dubious. But, I doubt Nintendo will make it crappy. Besides, there are likely to be updates anyway.

@DracoKrys, hiya. I don't think they will make it bad either. A lot of people have high expectations, and I'm sure they don't want to disappoint their fans. This is great for targeting older fans as well.
Tbh, I wouldn't mind if they only started with the first 151 Pokémon. Thats what I started the original games with anyway. And hoping for really cool 3D graphics.

- Trainer Customization (x)
- There will be 3 "teams": Red, Blue and Yellow
- Pokemon have natures, not like the games but like: Stoic, Assassin, Guardian, Raider, Protector, Sentry and Champion.
- No wild Pokemon Battling (?)
- Players will receive starter Pokemon (not in the beta)
- Day/Night cycle
- 151 original Pokemon in the beta
- There's a move called star Burst
- Android version is 47.97MB

I wonder if starters are all we know, or if each area has their own set of starters. I think that would be more real and I would actually like having only one gen of starters located in a city.
I hope I'm surrounded by Vulpix. I also wonder if you can catch the same Pokémon by visiting the area daily, or if it's a one time thing.
I wasn't expecting a day and night cycle. That's great! Zubat everywhere ;w;
