Guide to the Event Distribution Activity Points:

There have been many questions about how to get the different Activity Points (Herein referred to as APs) to progress on the Event Distribution Page when an event is running. Instead of repeating myself until blue in the face (and the same with the mods) I figured I'd throw a guide out there for you instead :p

First thing to know: There are 6 categories of APs.
Interacting: Max of 750 APs per hour
Game Center: Max of 50 APs per hour
Battling: Max of 100 APs per hour
Rumbling: Max of 50 APs per hour
Social: Max of 50 APs per hour
Other: Max of 200 APs per hour
Total: Max of 1,200 APs per hour

Some of these are rather straight forward, but others, not so much. Let's break these down some more:

Interaction APs:

This must be the most straight forward of the APs available. Interact with pokemon and eggs and earn APs. Earn 1 for training and warming or earn 3 for feeding berries. With the many types of click-lists, this task is not that hard to complete in the hour given. I've even done it once or twice on my mobile ;)

Breakdown:
1 AP per interaction (training with a pokemon or warming an egg)
3 AP per berry fed to a pokemon (Yes, the index feeding does count)

Game Center APs:

What better way to waste your time towards an event than to play some games? Well, interacting because that gives you the most APs per hour, but once that's full, paying the games is the next easiest thing to do. It's fun, relaxing, and you can earn some Game Chips in the process. The thing is that not all the games give APs for the event, well more like the Golden Slots don't pay out APs, but it's still worth it to play for other ways to get APs ;)

Breakdown:
13-16 AP per game of Concentration (Hard)
5 AP per win in Treasure Hunt [500 Game Chip minimum]
3 AP per game of Concentration (Medium)
1 AP randomly for Coin Flip [1 Game Chip minimum]
1 AP per level in Higher or Lower [100 Game Chip minimum]
1 AP per correct answer in Hangman
1 AP per game of Concentration (Easy)
0 AP for Lottery
0 AP for Golden Slot

Battling APs:

If you enjoy to battle other players, just send a battle request and try to have a good battle. The more even the battle, the more APs earned, in my experience. The winner gets more APs than the one who didn't win, so it makes for a nice and challenging way to get some APs. You can also do this in one window/tab while working on other APs in another window/tab.

Breakdown:
Unknown Variables - Winner gets more APs than other user

Rumbling APs:

There are many theories on this AP gain. "It's done by the number of rumblers!" "The PD you gain will give you APs here!" "It's item based" "It's completely random!"

Let me just say that, from personal experience, the only thing that matters is the NUMBER of items brought back. The quality of the item holds no effect, how many pokemon come back has no effect, and the PD is completely disregarded. If your pokemon brings back a berry, a star piece, a box, or a key, the event page values it all the same.

The more pokemon you have out, though, the more likely they are to bring you back items, so the more AP you can earn per hour.

Breakdown:
1 AP per item brought back
0 AP per pokemon brought back
0 AP per PD brought back

Social APs:

This is probably one of the hardest APs to earn from the page. It not only requires interaction with other members of the site, but not everything that you do will count for it. So far, there's only three ways that I know of to get Social Points for the event. Trades give you APs, but only if you set them up and accept the offer. Offering on a trade does not give you APs. Placing a bid on an auction or winning an auction gives you APs as well. And posting on the forums apparently gives you APs after 24 hours have passed. (That way if it's spam, it'll be deleted and not counted towards the APs. That and you could get a warning for spam)

Breakdown:
2 AP if you win an auction
2 AP per trade completed
1 AP per auction bid placed
? AP per post 24 hours after it was posted

Other APs:

This is the most diverse way to get APs. I mean, I have found 7 proven ways to get APs for this section, and I am sure that there are more to be discovered!

Breakdown:
7 AP per Game Center pokemon obtained
7 AP per pokemon adopted from the Beach
7 AP per pokémon caught at the tree
7 AP per egg taken from the Daycare
7 AP for Retro obtained from Concentration.
3 AP per tall grass grab (Found an Egg)
3 AP per pokemon caught from the Beach
2 AP per Honey placed on the tree
1 AP per every few correct answers in the Royal Tunnel
1 AP per tall grass search (No egg found)
1 AP per item caught from the Beach
0 AP per egg obtained from the lab
0 AP for collecting honey from the Honeycomb
0 AP for collecting Milk from Miltank
0 AP from the Restaurant
0 AP from Leah

Updated the guide with the Concentration Game information and added in values for a few of the previously unknown values.

Apparently the hard Concentration game gives 13 APs per play. That's a lot more than I expected, lol.

I just got 15 Activity Points for playing it once, though ^^'
I think it's somewhere around 15,5 per "hard" mode; I have 31 after two plays.

It says that bidding on an auction gives you one social AP. But I tried and it doesnt? Is the guide not up to date anymore/ this distribution different?
They/them pronouns please

I have received social points for bidding/winning auctions this event. You have to wait until the auction ends to receive your points. That's when I got mine.
My berry market is full of berries, mostly pecha.
