The lion woofed and nodded, laying its head onto its paws. Its tail
started swishing side to side slowly as it blinked at Lean lazily.
The lady from the reception called it again but it simply closed
the door with its foot.
"How come you don't wanna go downstairs? That woman is nice, isn't
she?" Lean hesitates once more but then gives the creature a little
scratch under his chin, being as gentle as she could, even though
the guard was about the size of the whole room.
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
Lean looks away for a second and then made her scratching a little
stronger, trying to lift his head towards her. It was heavy. "You
don't? Well, I hope you know what you are doing. I'd love to see my
mother downstairs."
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
The Lion tilted its head at the mention of Lean's mother. It moved
closer, laying down beside her as she continued to scratch its
chin. The bell on its collar jingled at the movement.
"Oh, it's nothing." Lean shook her head, scratching his chin some
more. At the sound of Selaphiel, she only had this to say: "See for
yourself! Just don't be surprised." She really hoped that Selaphiel
doesn't mind the large guard laying near her and just... being an
adorable little thing~

The lion immediately stood up at Selaphiel's voice. It looked to
Lean and then back at the door before nudging it open with its
head. Seeing Sela, it started to circle around her curiously,
yipping at Lean excitedly as if it wanted to show her what it
discovered.
The crow boy sighs for a moment "Its alright. You see... They were
a childhood friend of mine, we were unseperateable. I wont go into
to much detail but one day, Legion kidnapped and basically killed
them." It felt strange since he was talking to some stranger abou
his past but at the same time, it felt good talking to someone for
once.
"The stars in my memories that
I can't express in words, all packed into a balloon,
Soars across the Milky Way, carrying travelers, a dream" "It won'tend yet,""I don't wantit to end" "But even so, one day.."
-Mr. Showtime
"Huh, I'm sorry about your loss, Rei. Legion... that man is a
monster. And so are the people that follow him!" Angel curled his
fist around his jacket before releasing it with a sigh. "The land
will be better without them all... sinners and such." He looked to
Rei sheepishly. "Your reason of hate towards Legion is really
valid, it puts mine to shame."
"Oh?" Rei's eyes perked up hearing that last part "Well, atleast im
not alone on hating them. Why do you hate them then?" His voice
sounded abit more casual this time.

-Mr. Showtime
"Well..." Angel tore a bit of grass and started playing with it. He
crossed his legs. "Legion is killing many people. It's not even
putting them out of misery, it's just plain genocide. I... Want to
stop these ridiculous murders. Else the land is going to turn into
Deus-Eiwos pretty soon."
"Oh my- what is this?" Selaphiel was startled at first, covering
her body with her wings. "Where did it come from? I don't remember
any celestial beasts looking like this. The Saint Deity's guard
dog, perhaps? Or maybe something else..."

Lean walks outside too, laughing shyly at the guard lion's behavior
towards Selaphiel. "Y-Yeah, this is the prestigious Selaphiel... an
archangel." She... omitted that they were roommates. That felt a
bit like rousing her again, and she'd like one quiet night of sleep
with the others for now.
You know the first rule in combat?
Shoot them before they shoot you.
The Lion barked happily, looping once around Sela again and then
trotting over to Lean's side. Its ears perked up as someone opened
the door from the other room. Yue yawned and pulled his hand
through his ponytail before seeing the others in the corridor. "Oh!
You've found one of the guard lions! Already friends?" He laughed.
"O-Oh, Miss Astronima. Well, eh, this creature came into my room
and... well, I suppose it just wanted to play and get to know us."
Lean somewhat regained her composure, giving the lion a scratch
behind their ear now (tho she had to stand on tippy-toes to reach
it). "After all, you don't see a Wildana King and Planner and an
archangel that revered every day, huh? Or a child of the stars?"
She said, giving Yue a little smile.

The Lion made a little 'mrrww' noise at Lean, wagging its tail
again (and knocking over the table in the room). "He just walked
into your room? Well, that's interesting." Yue tilted his head.
"These lions are mostly blind, though they can see the souls and
emotions of someone. If they see the soul of a good person, they
protect them at all cost. And a bad one? Well... Anyways, I bet you
have a reason for intruding my friends room, don't you buddy." The
Lion tilted its head in response.
Lean gave it a thought. "So it likes me... because it thinks I'm a
good person?" She stopped for a second... but then smiled again,
giving it a stronger scratch behind the ears. "Awww, you're a
flattering guard, aren't you!" She laughs and then looks over at
Yue. "Now I am a little concerned that, with the goodwill in our
party, it would want to sleep in our room. Wouldn't you?" The
planner went back to scratching under their chin, her feet had
gotten weak.

"Perhaps it thought you were the most interesting." Yue laughed
before reaching over and checking the Lion's collar. "Ah, Paiyou.
What a funny name. I hope you aren't driving the lao nai nai crazy,
these days." The Lion barked happily, as if saying 'yes' to Yue.
"I don't see how I am the most interesting." Lean's laughter slowly
died down but kept giving Paiyou some rubs. She did not understand
what Yue just said, her mind was still on his first statement. "I
mean, we have a literal archangel from heaven, a dollmaker who can
give life, a gift from the stars and the King of Wildana. But I
appreciate the attention." Then, she finally asked about what Yue
was just talking about. "Lao... nai nai?"
