SilverRibbon held as still as possible when yosei used his heal
bell on him, he watched with his uncovered eye as yosei removed the
bandages around his eye. When the bandages were removed he closed
that eye quickly because of the sudden change in ligh. He blinked a
little before looking around and after a few moments he broke out
in a grin "I can see!!!" he shouted happily and turned his
attention back to yosei "thank you! I feel great!!!" he said his
happy go lucky attitude coming back after so long mopping around.
"It is nice to see a smile on your face after all this time
SilverRibbon and I am happy that your eye is all healed. Just take
it easy for a little while." Yosei smiled gently at the young
eevee. "I must go out for a little bit. Be good for everyone else."
On his own, the battle-scarred Jolteon who limped his way to the
clearing was a sight in and of itself. However, to see this Jolteon
half-dragging, half-carrying a terribly wounded Eevee on his back
was a whole other level of surprising.
The curses falling from his scarred snout were also noteworthy for
their, shall we say, creativity. "By Arceus's girdle," he growled.
"How can a little thing like you be so Mew-forsaken heavy?" When
she, and the unconscious Eevee was in fact a she, didn't respond,
he set her down and tugged on her ears with the exasperated ease of
one who's done this numerous times within the past half hour. "By
Mew's fluffy tail, if you don't wake up, I'll zap you." It was an
empty threat, the tell tale emptiness ringing in his words, but he
was growing desperate. He'd heard rumors of a place for Eevees and
eeveelutions and had already been on his way when he found this
wounded one-- and it seemed as though for all his efforts, she
would die before he even found the place.
It seemed he had one option remaining.
"Help!" he howled. "Anyone! Please help me!" Carrying the Eevee had
taken a great deal of energy out of him, but he released a large
burst of electricity, using it as a flare of sorts. Spent, he
collapsed down beside her, panting with exertion.
SilverRibbon nodded "I will be yosei! thank you" he said once again
as he watched the sylveon leave. He was going to go back to his
nest to rest but after hearing a new voice yell for help he didn't
hesitate and ran to see what was wrong. He gasped at the sight of
the eevee and a jolteon, he ran over to them "stay here I'll get
help" he said and ran over to were he had seen Yosei go 'yosei!
come quick an eevee and jolteon are hurt!" he said and then ran
over to were the other sylveon was resting "miss wake up" he said
ergently as he pawed her side rapidly.
Blitzkrieg barely had enough time to process the arrival of help
(or the herald of help, at least) before the unknown Eevee raced
off. While he'd been told not to move, he honestly didn't think
he'd be able to disobey, even if he wanted to. To reiterate, it had
been a very very long journey. Exhausted and assured that
help was on its way, Blitzkrieg rested his head on his paws while
he waited.
-is siting somewhere in the forest like at the area near them thou
on a tree and is dreaming- “a cave over there" -laughs then wakes
up- “i gotta see if there is a cave there” -walks to spot and heres
a crash- “i guess there wasn” -sentence ends short as he looks
down- “oh” -falls down into the cave-
Vidette snaps awake, her feelers waving a bit. "What? What's going
on?" she mumbled. She hops up, shaking her fur. "Lead me to where
they are."
Mizuko looks up from the pool he was swimming in at the crash. He
thought the cave he had found was abandoned, but apparently
not. He drags himself out of the water and begins limping toward
the noise.
"Hey, assbutt!" ~Castiel (to Michael, before throwing a holy hand
grenade; to Lucifer, before attempting to stab him)
SilverRibbon nodded and took off twords the injured pokemon, he
stops in front of the jolteon and eevee "hurry! vidette" he said
worried as he skidded to a stop in front of the pokemon.
With help now in sight, Blitzkrieg let out a relieved sigh.
"Thanks," he said. "I don't know much of anything about
healing wounds, but I tried to keep her awake. You're
supposed to do that for exposure victims, aren't you?" He tried to
extract himself from underneath the body atop him as gently as he
could manage. Still, Infini softly whimpered, pained by the slight
movement, but didn't wake. "But you-- you guys, this is your whole
shtick right? Healing up eevees and all that? I'm Blitzkrieg, and I
don't know her name. You can help her right? Be a crying shame to
have carried her all this way for nothing."
Inwardly, he sincerely hoped that they could help, and not because
of wasted energy. Perhaps he was too soft-hearted for his own good,
but he'd rather that than to be callous.
Vidette quickly followed, reaching out and helping the Eevee down.
"Yes, it was good to keep her awake," she tells Blitzkrieg. "What
happened? Where did you find her?"
"Hey, assbutt!" ~Castiel (to Michael, before throwing a holy hand
grenade; to Lucifer, before attempting to stab him)
"To the north," he answered. "Up by those iced rocks. You know?
Don't ask why I was out there-- it seemed like a good idea
at the time." Freed of the eevee's weight, Blitzkrieg let out
another, louder sigh of relief and immediately dropped his rump to
the ground. His leg was killing him. What he wouldn't give
for a dunk in the hot springs right about now.
"As for what happened... I don't know for sure, but I can make a
pretty good guess." His expression turned grim. "I found her nearby
a human, a trainer.. The human had already gone cold and stiff, and
she was in much the same condition you see her now, only she had a
few icicles hanging off her fur. Could have been a little comical,
if it weren't so deadly. But my best guess? Her trainer under
estimated the other pokémon in the area and she paid the price for
it." Blitz spoke bitterly, his disgust showing in his every word.
"Humans are bad enough. Trainers are the worst of them."
"Oh, dear..." Vidette whispered. "It's a very good thing you found
her when you did, then. I can't believe that happened... And I
agree with you, for the most part. It depends on the human, I
think." She sighs. "I think mine wanted me to be a Leafeon. When I
became a Sylveon, he made me leave. That's when I realized I never
really loved him in the first place. But I've met a few good
ones, just not many..."
"Hey, assbutt!" ~Castiel (to Michael, before throwing a holy hand
grenade; to Lucifer, before attempting to stab him)
"Feh," he scoffed, making it clear just what he thought about the
few "good" trainers she'd met. "Your trainer sounds par for the
course. What, was it too difficult for him to find a leaf stone?
And to turn his back on you like that... But, you're obviously
better off without that bipedal meat sack." Edging back to give her
room to work, he mused aloud, "Much better off. Say, what's an
Eevee-- er, eeveelution, sorry, still not quite used to that --
gotta do to earn a spot here? Fight off an Ursaring or herd some
buffalant or something equally crazy?"
Finally, it seemed the constant voices penetrated the fog of
unconsciousness wrapped around the Eevee. Her ears twitched back
and forth between Vidette and Blitzkrieg before she finally woke,
albeit briefly, with a pitiful whimper.
"It is not very nice to bad mouth a human who has passed on to the
next life. you do not know exactly what has happened. They could
have been ambushed by some wild pokemon." Yosei exclaims as he
wanders over to the group with a tired look on his face. "Also, not
all humans are bad. There are some good ones out in the world. Do
not blame all humans for the actions of a couple. Now let's drop
this discussion and get everyone to the barn." Yosei smiles gently
down at SilverRibbon, "You did good SilverRibbon. I am very proud
of you."
SilverRibbon smiled happy that the new pokemon where getting the
help that they needed. He blink and was about to tell the jolteon
his two cents about how not all humans were bad but was stopped by
yosei's praise. He smiled at the sylveon "thank you yosei" he said
shyly and looked down at his paws.
Vidette sighed and moved the Eevee's fur away from her eyes. "It's
okay, young one. We're here, you're getting help." She then looked
up at Blitzkrieg. "You don't have to do anything like that.
You can just join us."
"Hey, assbutt!" ~Castiel (to Michael, before throwing a holy hand
grenade; to Lucifer, before attempting to stab him)
Mizuko follows the echoing voice of the Sylveon, cursing his
twisted paw for making his limping gait louder. He climbs onto a
rock and waits for the other Eeveelution to walk underneath.
"Hey, assbutt!" ~Castiel (to Michael, before throwing a holy hand
grenade; to Lucifer, before attempting to stab him)
Chasing the comforting touch, Infini whimpered again. "'M tired,"
she complained around a tongue thick with exhaustion. "I wanna
sleep."
"I'll help best I can," Blitzkrieg said, referring to Infini. "But
I don't know how many more miles I can take her." He gave a short,
self-depreciating laugh. "Not selling myself too well, huh? Let's
just get going."
