Phew. Cake is done!

Probably one of my best ones made from home so far.

I go to bake a cake.
Simple job in theory, right?
But first I have to clean the table off.
Then I realize the bowls I need are in the sink. So I have to wash all of the dishes.

But before I can wash dishes, I have to put the rack of clean dishes away.

While I'm putting dishes away, I get upset at the drawer organization and have to reset everything.

Then I see some space on the counter needs cleared, and I wipe that down. Now while I'm wiping things down I guess I'll wipe down the stove top, too.

Then I can finally wash the dishes. While the water is running, guess I'll go water my plants too. Oh, the window sill the plants are on needs a wipe down too... 2 hours later, still no cake has been made.

final Furret job update

I've been at my new store for a week now, yay!!

They were able to remove my "termination" from the system and make it look like I was officially transferred, maintaining all of my PTO, pay, benefits etc.

And what a wonderful first week it has been! SO much less stress. My coworker actually asked me to *slow down* today, like, what? that's a thing I can do? 😭 I'm so excited to be here

Aww yeah Smoliv was released yesss. Now my shiny mega really needs to show up faster ;0

Well, that wasn't a lot of free time. Sounds like I'm starting at the new store in the morning. ^_^ (I don't miss out on a paycheck, at least!)

Update on the Furret Job Saga

My store, last week, said they'd start sharing me with the store I wanted to transfer to. Yesterday they gave me days I was going to be there next week. However my management made a comment saying the other store will be paying my over time.

An update on my irl if any one is interested:

2 months ago I applied to transfer to a different store within my company.

I was interviewed and hired on the spot. My current store has refused to transfer me thus far (claiming they will have no one to work my position and that they would "fall apart" - they've interviewed people but have not hired anyone for my position).

It's about to cost me the position at the new store as they're not willing to wait much longer for my current store to release me.
