Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to shiny hunt?
Such as, where can you buy a Pokeradar, and what are the best ways to get multiple of the same species egg in a row?

You can buy the pokeradar on the pokemart, the best way to get the same species is by breeding or by buying with gems , also to activate the poke radar you need to spend 50 electric gems, 50 k pd or 50 nuggets. If you break your streak you lose all progress and have to pay the cost again

Is there a difference between the regular Pokeradar and the premium Pokeradar?
Also, what's the best way to breed Pokemon, considering the two I have in the daycare right now (Gogoat and Zebstrika) aren't making any eggs?

Gogoat and skiddo will NOT give an egg.
You need 2 pokemon of the same species ofc. And, since different pokemon have different moods (?), they may or may not have an egg. Like, A pair of pokemon you put in the daycare (Lets say, Magikarp) Need to be a male and female and must match. You will know if they match by looking at the message below their pictures (eg: "They cant stand being with each other" or "The play together, but as brother and sister" or "They match perfectly").
Also, the difference between the two pokeradars are: "The battery of your PokéRadar will never run out of power and the maximum possible chance of finding a Shiny is doubled!" - This is for the premium one.

Oh, I had no idea, I thought it was like an egg group thing!! I'll see if I can get another Gogoat then ^^

Egg groups do work! They'll give you eggs of both Pokemon though and breed slower. Best compatibility and egg rates are with two of the same species + different OT but members of the same egg group are able to breed!
The only exception for that is when one mon has only one egg group while the other has two and they share the secondary egg group.
As an example:
Field/Monster + Field = can breed!
Field/Monster + Monster = can't breed!
Field/Monster + Monster/Fairy = can breed!
