It's a normal day in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe, no humans, no disasters, and no pineapple on pizza! It also happens to be the day a meteor shower that only happens once a millenium takes place, right when jirachi wakes up! Once every shower, It's said that a single meteor shard will be sent down to a single pokemon as a gift to "The child of stars" that's said to be reborn every millenium as a different mon. Unfortunately, this kind of thing always heralds some kind of universe destroying event, but the pokemon are ready this time. They've fully mobilised the adventurers guild, assembling multiple gold tier teams ready to be dispatched upon notice. They were confident they could deal with the next disaster heading to them. Oh boy, did they not see what was coming for them. On the day of the meteor shower, millions of mons dissapeared, leaving 1 mon of each species left in their world. We shall refer to these mons as mages. Mages, the last of their kind, just wake up alone as the last surviving member of their race. All other mons of the species just vanish, poof, gone. In addition to that, they gain a power they didn't originally possess, for example a tyrranitar with lazer eyes. Some are lucky and gain 2. Aside from those, they also get a mysterious voice in their head, something ALIVE. This voice, is you. You're transported from the human world into a cheap ripoff mystery dungeon game you were playing, and the mages are your avatars, each avatar has their own personality and sentience, with you in the backseat with occasional control. Your task as a Mage is to unite with other mages to form a team to track down arceus and reset the world, so you all can leave your hosts and go back to your world! Sounds simple enough right? Well, YOU'RE ALSO ON A TIME LIMIT! A border has materialised around the island all the mages are conveniently gathered on, and it's shrinking over time. It causes immense pain upon being touched, enough to drive one insane with enough time. So yeah, find arceus and Jirachi. To make things even worse, there are soul eating demons hunting you! Wooooooo~ scary. You get caught, your souls is sucked out and ur mon dies, game over. Well? What are you waiting for? Go do your job and save the world already!
