Charlie was apparently done wandering around and rejoined the group silently because he had nothing better to do and I had nothing else to post. He's also not grumpy anymore.

She'd love to get an idea of what they were like, but Kendo's mind was stronger than most, and as first glance was just a muddle of random thoughts. She didn't think it was worth the effort, or very polite, to probe further. For now.

Yes, she wouldn't need entertainment for days after spending a couple minutes with this group.

"Don't boast before you've given it a try. Oh, and I'm pretty sure I'd crush you in beauty. Don't push it." Conflicted. Yes, that was a good word. It described her emotion perfectly most of the time. She wanted to help. To comfort. To soothes wounds old and new. But if that was all she did, she'd be marked off as weak. Thrown into the shadows. So she kept up the mask. Of sarcastic friendliness, and occasionally not-so-friendliness.

The scent of jam suddenly came up, as Fleurine was nearby the group of testees. For some reason, she was put in this world somewhere else entirely and had to be on her own for a while... though that time alone did give her time to reflect a bit, since she had nobody else to resonate with. As soon as she drew closer to the group though, she felt the emotions rise. The conflict. The tension... and it reflected a bit in her, as she felt a little uneasy. So, she kind of... hid herself behind trees, looking towards the wandering people and thinking about how to approach them... how...

Fleurine yelps at Athena's little toss, trying to catch the macaron and falling backwards to do so. Though then she stands up, being strangely clean and being a little red. "T-Thank you." She walks closer, shaking herself to change her clothing to resemble her formal favorite: A pink-purple dress. "I-eh, didn't mean to spy, I just wanted to ask, if you still had room for another marcher."

"Sure!" Athena pulled a full packet of macarons out of her belt pocket, and handed them to Fleurine. "Don't worry, they're perfectly safe to eat. Unless you're allergic to magically created food. In that case, you might not want this packet of gummy bears and cute lil kitten jelly."

Fleurine went a soft red as she slowly takes the kitten jelly off Athena... and for a second or two, a pair of cat ears pop up on her own head. She gave the kitten jelly a pet on it's head. "... je t'appelle Félinee." She muttered, mesmerized by the dessert.

This was a travesty to all food. Erin closed her eyes and adjusted her chef's coat out of habit. Magically created food was suspect at best. Hers, of course, was always naturally sourced and of the highest quality a talent gifted to her by the devil of food himself. Avoiding the urge to vomit at the sight of the jelly kitten, which was undoubtedly of inferior quality, Erin focused on her feet. One foot in front of the next. Simple as that.

The preparation of jelly was what gave the food character. The simmering sugar and the addition of gelatin or tapioca, the mesmerizing slow stirs until the dish reached the perfect consistency, the repetitive cooling... All of that, ruined in an instant. Athena gave a terrible name to her entire industry.

She continued to grouch along, frowning somewhat petulantly at the back of the new arrival's head. Fleurine. Erin wondered if she spelled her name like the element or the used the latin roots for flower. Not that it really mattered; they were likely just another person that would get on her nerves. Erin, of course, made no effort to introduce herself.

Fleurine looks over to Erin and... could not help but smile a bit more. She looked like a baker from her home, someone who'd always give her the best of pastries after closing time. She steps close, with the jelly kitten in her arms like an actual one. "Ooooh, you must be a chef!" She takes a gentle sniff, while she herself smelled like something fruity... like an unknown but very nice wine. "A fancy one!"

Fleurine backs away a little too, holding the kitten a little closer. "H-Hey, I didn't say you made bad food or anything! I'd be curious to try yours!" She knew some fancy food, sometimes when she played her cards right, she was able to eat some fancy food in Paris. "M-My name is Fleurine!" She extends her hand, it having a weird wobbly motion.

Andrea sat amongst the trees, watching the group. Fleurine had been spotted a while back, but not her. She didn’t intend to reveal herself just yet, especially since they hadn’t spotted her yet. She scans the group, listening hard for any information. So that girl was a chef, hmm? And the other could make food with magic? Well that was pretty cool. Long black curls fell out of place, dangling beside her face. She hurriedly tucks them back behind her ear. She fiddled with the beads in her hair, as she continued gazing at them. Perhaps she would go down soon.
