You've been through so much. You and the other 9 contestants have gone through literal hell to end up here, in this brightly-lit room.

You, years ago, were given an invitation, due to your skills, to join an organization that transcends the boundaries of the multiverse. You've gone through 99 tests, in the past 12 years, and you've completed them all. Now, in your ever-unchanging body, have gotten to the final test.

A masked man stands behind a podium, smiling cheerfully.

"Welcome, welcome, candidates! You've done well to make it this far! Honestly impressive that some of you are younger than our leader when he went through this same test. Enough of the prattle. This is your final test, to join our organization. What is your test? Well, it's simple!"

The masked man laughed, snow-white wings spreading behind him. He smiled under his mask.

"Survive. Survive here, in our world, for a year. What world, you may ask?"

He grinned.

"Why, this one, of course!"

He snapped. You could feel yourself being transported once more. The angel's smiling face was the last thing you saw before the world went black.

"Good luck! You'll need it."

Oh, and how spot on that statement would turn out to be.

When kendo opened his eyes, he was laying in a grassy field. The sun was shining, the birds chirping as they flew across the clear blue sky. He got up from his position on the ground, taking in the chilly spring air. He looked around, his cold blue eyes analyzing the area around him. The trees surrounding the little clearing seemed to be made of golden wood, glinting in the sunlight. Around him, the other contestants were sprawled on the floor. He recognized all of them. He also recognized the place they were in.

He clapped loudly, waking everyone up.

"Welcome to Elfheim, my friends! They should be here in a few seconds."

Farina startled awake, looking around and grabbing her hat. She stood up and dusted herself off, smiling coyly. "What a fascinating little place we've found ourselves in~" Her ears perked up. "And who are you referring to?"

He looked down at his watch, dusting off his hoodie. He turned to face Farina.

"Ah, The Gambler. I mean the elves, of course. They don't take too kindly to outsiders, you kno-"

At that moment, he was cut off by angry shouting.

"Outsiders! What are you doing here!"

Right on cue, an Elven archer was standing just by the trees, his bow trained on them. He seemed to be very angry that actual people were in a random clearing.

"This is Elfheim! Outsiders are not allowed here! Who sent you, the Dwarves? The Dragonians?"

"Ah, I see." She seemed amused, walking to stand next to Kendo. "What do you suppose we should do? Kill them off? We're going to need an open world to work in."

Charlie awoke with a jolt. He rubbed his eyes, glancing around, and scowling at the bright sun shining. He made no attempt to stand up or even move, he just stared and tried to find reality. Eventually he found it and snapped out of his little trance, standing up and dusting himself off. He fixed his hair and turned towards the rest of the group, his scowl turning into a frown. He didn't speak for a bit, ignoring the elf. "Oh woe, couldn't they have dropped us in a better place?" He eventually muttered, crossing his arms.

He took a step sideways, distancing himself fromFarina, his eyes emotionless, cold. He didn't seem too bothered. He reached into the much by his belt, pulling out three throwing daggers.

"No need to bother yourself, Ms. Farrari."

He raised his hands.

"hah, are you surrendering? As you sh-"

With a flick of his hand, Kendo sent the daggers flying at the elf, killing him instantly. Kendo walked towards the fallen elf, inspecting the bow. He nodded, stuffing it into the pouch. He pulled the daggers out of the elf's body, putting them back in his ouch. He pulled out a vial of greenish-purple liquid. He uncorked the vial. A terrible smell came up, as the body dissolved where the acid touched it. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing, as if he'd done this million of times before.

"Well, good to know there's one gentleman here." She turned away and looked at the rest of their surroundings. "Though I'm sure you knew I could easily take him by myself. Didn't want a lady to dirty her hands?"

Kendo stood up, satisfied after the acid melted through the last remaining bits of the fallen elf. He brushed his hands off, turning to her.

"A gerbil...?" The tips of her floppy ear turned pink. She was angrily embarrassed. "How dare you call me that?! How insensitive!" She glared at him with scarlet eyes, huffing.

Charlie rolled his eyes, still frowning. He adjusted his glasses, and looked like he was about to say something, but he didn't. He just watched the two bicker, and seemed a little entertained. His frown turned into a slight smile. He would say something if he needed to.

Erin rolled over and woke up. Where was she? Right. This place.

"Rodents stink," she muttered to herself, as the conversation carried across the way to her ears. "I've killed many a rat in my day."

She straightened up and brushed off her immaculate chef's jacket. New world, new start. And hopefully the local cuisine was interesting. They were flirting. Perfect time to break up the conversation. "Who are you people?" Erin called over with a raised eyebrow.

She snapped her fingers. They began to glow. "Probability output, probability in which he teases me, down to 2 percent!" A light wave washed over him, and she returned to normal. "I'm used to insults. I'm used to compliments. But teasing me? How low of you." She returned to her amused expression, smirking at him with a hand on her hip.

The ruckus wasn't quiet at all, as it wasn't long before Ayran woke up. He didn't say anything at first as he decided to look around their surroundings first and foremost.

There was more elves than them, it wasn't the first time they had experienced a situation like this, and seeing Kendo kill one without a problem, it shouldn't be hard to kill the rest with his [Crows]

Ayran first sat up, and raised his hands, small real sized crows appeared a few feet above his head, you could tell they were made with extremely good craftsmanship as since from afar, you could barely tell that it was fake. It's metallic coat shown purple in the morning light, and the fake eyes electric eyes was electric blue.

At Ayran's command, it quickly flew towards the elves and shot them off one by one, some of them burning, while others died of poison. But all was shot down without a word.

He glanced back the at bicking crowd and sighs, after going through so many other tests with these people, they still never change it seems.

She simply covered her embarrassment with her cocky attitude. "Yes, I'm sure you love bothering every pretty girl you see." Though she still kept her face hidden.
