So I looked in my party and got something called a "Retro egg." Can someone explain to me what that is?

Retro Pokemom on the Pokeheroes wiki

They're special pokemon with their gen 1-3 sprites, and cannot evolve or be bred, but have a 1 in 50 chance of being Shiny. Yours was from the Concentration game, which has a chance of rewarding you with one retro egg daily that can hatch into a Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Hoothoot or Sentret
