Headmistress: Professor Minerva McGonagall (Gryffindor, Halfblood); After a complicated life and losing her two best friends to the Dark Lord Voldemort, Professor McGonagall has become a strong and decisive headmistress. In the aftermath of the war, she has brought stability and safety standards to Hogwarts. Professor McGonagall believes in justice and honor, having all but eliminated discrimination based on House and Blood Status from Hogwarts.

Transfiguration: Professor Warwick Davies (Gryffindor, Halfblood); Having been hired upon McGonagall's promotion to Headmistress, Professor Davies is intelligent and engaging. His students find his classes interesting and his humor enjoyable. As Head of Gryffindor House, Professor Davies has created a welcoming and united space for all students. He enjoys a friendly rivalry with all other Heads of Houses. Professor Davies is extremely skilled at poker, and enjoys bluffing his way to a victorious hand in the staff room.

Charms: Professor Filius Flitwick (Ravenclaw, Halfblood, Half-goblin); Having survived the Wizarding War, Professor Flitwick continues to teach Charms in his typical light-hearted fashion. He is kind and understanding to all students. As a former dueling champion, Professor Flitwick has finally taken control of the dueling club at Hogwarts (second years and up!). He is the wise Head of Ravenclaw House, and is harsher on bullying than before the war.

Herbology: Professor Henry Abernathy (Hufflepuff, Pureblood); Professor Abernathy is one of the newest teachers at the school having been hired four years prior when Professor Sprout retired. He is passionate about his subject, and makes sure his students learn curriculum thoroughly. As Head of Hufflepuff House, Professor Abernathy has continued the House's routine bids for the House Cup through hard work and accountability.

Potions: Professor Liara Calissa (Slytherin, Pureblood); Professor Calissa was hired in the aftermath of the war when Professor Slughorn re-retired. She is a strict, sarcastic, and no-nonsense teacher, although much of that stems from the dangers of her subject. She is the Head of Slytherin House and has worked tirelessly to restore the tarnished name of Slytherin. While many students love to complain about her workloads, her Slytherins respect and adore her.

Defense Against the Dark Arts [DADA]: Professor Leanne Magnolia (Ravenclaw, Pureblood); The curse put on the position was broken with the death of the Dark Lord. An ex-auror who served with Alastor Moody during the rise of Grindelwald and both of Voldemort's regimes, Professor Magnolia is demanding and precise. Do not let her 5'2" statue and old age fool you, she routinely tests students unannounced, and designs the class like auror training. Professor Magnolia attended school with Professor McGonagall, and much of the students today amuse her. If she catches you breaking a minor rule, she will be more disappointed that you were caught.

History of Magic: Professor Cuthbert Binns (Ravenclaw, Pureblood, Ghost); Professor Binn's classes put everyone to sleep. That's a fact. But this year, he's tired of it. So over the summer, he developed a magical device that revolutionized his subject. The first-years and all of Hogwarts are in for a surprise this year...

Astronomy: Professor Aurora Sinistra (Hufflepuff, Muggle-born); Professor Sinistra teaches astronomy by the light of the stars, and thus has become nocturnal. She is never seen outside of her classes, leading some students to question if she is a vampire. Her classes are interesting, but extremely challenging for those with no aptitude for her subject.
